--Lyla POV--
"So we are in Oklahoma now? Huh. I thought it would be all indians and cornfields." I joked.
"Wow Lyla. That's a little racist." Crystal covered her mouth in mock-shock.
"Come on, guys. We need to find our way around. We need the next lift to Colorado, and from there we'll go to Oregon." Jade was already thinking about the next step of our journey.
{{So due to how boring this part is for you to read and for me to write, I'm just going to Major Time Skip to Oregon. So to sum it up they took buses and found their ways around security to get where they need to be. Because i really don't feel like writing a bunch of traveling stuff haha :) }}

"YES! WE MADE IT TO OREGON! From here we can find the coast and swim towards Australia. It sounds crazy, but we've done crazier stuff!" Jade yelled.
"It has been so long since I last swam! I'm up for a long trip!" I said.
"Well let's see... we are near Macklyn Creek, in Brookings... and there is the beach!" Jade ecstatically pointed to the sandy shore. It felt so good to see the ocean again. Hardly anyone was on the beach, because it was a chilly day, and the waves were crazy. A storm was supposed to be hitting soon. And that is what made this the perfect time.
"Come on girls. Let's not wait another second!" We put our backpacks on our backs and begun running across the sand and into the waves. Our bags will be fine underwater, because we put all our stuff in zip lock bags and walmart sacks. I also put rice in the zip lock bags to absorb any drops that seeped in there.
