Oh no!
Today is going to be very hectic!
The clock read 1:00pm so I knew I'd slept in. I picked up my phone and dialed my soul sisters.
"Wakey wakey sleepy heads, we're going to Florida in 6 hours!"
"Ehhh...i didn't sleep a wink last night..."
Crystal groaned.
"I've already packed my bags, I've been up since eight o'clock!" Jade stated, sounding wide awake.
"At least someone got sleep. We need to pack clothes for seven days, and don't forget swimsuits. Sunblock incase, what else?" I racked my brain.
"Shampoo, conditioner, Be Enchanted body wash," Crystal said with a wink.
"All true, but we need a list! Jade, I'll leave that to you."
"Organizations my thing!" I could mentally see her healthy, happy smile crack across her face.
"I gotta go guys, i need to get packed." I panicked looking at the clock. It was already 1:36pm.
"Okay, we'll meet up with you at the sinclair gas station." Crystal replied.
I hung up and immediately ran into the hall, grabbing a towel out of the cabinet. I got into the bathroom, stripped, and turned on the shower. I stepped in and let the warm water hit my body.
I've always loved this sensation.
Suddenly I feel like nothing, as if I could pour down the drain. I slam on the wet floor of the bath tub with an orange scaly tail.
Oh my gosh, how could I forget?!? Thank God my parents weren't home or they would've rushed in there to make sure I was okay.
I switched off the shower and ran the bath instead. I hated washing my hair by dipping it in the bath, but that was my only choice.
I got out and dried off my tail with my power and with that, my hair was dry as well. I loved being a mermaid!
I ran into my room, packing cute shorts and cute tanks, along with a couple swimsuit covers and beach dresses.
Once I was done packing my bag, and took a quick glance at the clock.
5:47pm
I'm ready.
