REALISTIC ILLUSIONS
Every happily ever after from a fancy storybook about princesses starts from an unending "once upon a time".
Like how Cinderella found her happy ending with just merely a glass shoe.
Like how a piece of red rose helped Belle found her perfect beast.
And like how a potion helped Ariel to have a human leg in order for her to find her happiness. When I was young, I always loved reading books about how princesses find their true love.
Cliche, as it may seem but behind those happy endings, lies the sad truth.
The characters behind those fictions are focused on the physical traits first and appreciates the inside character afterward.
It is the reality of life that some people found the love of their lives because they have the looks and the perfect traits. It is true that those stories teach us the value of true love and waiting,
But what about those who are willing to wait but they are waiting for nothing?Maybe because the one they are waiting is chasing for someone else?
The sad truth is that people fall in love easily with their eyes and later on, with their hearts.
And to tell you honestly, this books with their undying once upon a time caused a lot of girls to dream about imaginary perfect guys and not a real man.I am living in a world of fiction because I write my own thoughts on reality.
Ironic isn't it?
I am writing my endless imaginations just to let everyone know what is running through my mind.
But never did they know that I am writing for someone who is not perfect nor a prince-like man.
Because I am trying to write about how I truly embraced his flaws and accepting his imperfect self.I am not criticizing my own favorite thing about fairytale books because I used to love them when I was young.
Yes, I loved it when all I think about before was a princess with glass slippers and a golden coach.
But now that I've opened my eyes to the reality of love where people tend to fall in love with the idea of fairy tales,
I am now realizing that there are lots of things that are even better than unrealistic prince charmings perfectly described in a book,
And it is loving an imperfect person and accepting him with all your heart is the best story I can ever write, read and share with you as long as I live.
