I was resting in the break room at work one day when the alarm went off. I jolted up and rushed to suit up. We hopped in the truck and responded to an apartment complex fire. PD was there. "Alright, you guys! It's on the fourth floor! Call people out and get them out. Y'all know the drill!" I yelled out as I geared up. As Cruz, Casey, Severide and I rushed to call and get people out, Casey must've sensed somehow that something was off with me. "You alright?" He asked. "I-I'm fine." I replied as we worked floor by floor to get people out. When we got to the final floor, the fourth floor, flames and smoke was everywhere. "Boden, crank up the hose." I radioed. "Roger that." He replied. As we called people out, we heard the hose and saw water spraying everywhere.  "Alright. Let's move faster!" I yelled. We got everyone on that floor out too and I called for more ambulances because of the number of injured people. We got out later with the last victim before the complex collapsed.

Once every victim was triaged and rushed to the hospital, Cruz and I inspected the remainders of the complex for the cause of the fire. We found a gasoline canister and a candle. "Someone did this on purpose." I told Cruz. I yelled for Voight and Lindsey. "What's up?" Voight asked. "Someone burnt this place to the ground on purpose. We found an empty gasoline canister and a burnt candle." I explained. "We'll investigate the scene and question everyone who lived here. Thank you for notifying us." Voight said. "You're welcome." I said. Then, we went back to the station. I took my suit off and went to the locker room to wash my hands and face, then I went back to the break room for lunch. As I was eating, Jimmy joined me. "Hi sweetheart. How's your lunch?" He asked me. I smiled and said, "It's good." We ate and talked more. Being the kind man he is, Jimmy took care of our dishes. All of a sudden, I broke into a panic attack and rushed outside the station. Jimmy and Hermann followed. When they caught up, they asked if I was okay. I shook my head, I couldn't breathe or speak. They helped me down on the ground to sit and they just held me. "Breathe, sweetheart, breathe." Hermann said. I calmed down after a while, but I wasn't feeling any better. "You okay?" Jimmy asked, concern in his voice. My vision started getting fuzzy and my hearing became blurry. Before any of us knew it, I went limp and passed out.

I woke up in the same spot with Hermann and Jimmy still beside me. I saw Severide, Casey, Boden, and the rest of the crew standing two inches away from us. "She's awake, you guys. Let's get back to work. She'll be okay." I heard Boden say. They did. Jimmy and Hermann helped me sit up. "You alright?" Jimmy asked. I nodded my head. After more supportive talking, they helped me up and we walked back into the break room. "Why don't you rest more? You need it." Jimmy suggested. We laughed a little and I said, "Okay." He gave me a soda and I drank it. I confessed that I had been majorly stressed. Jimmy hugged me and said he was sorry. "It's okay, sweetie. Things are fine now." I said. He smiled, kissed me, and said, "I hope we keep it that way." I nodded. The alarm went off. "You stay here, alright?" Jimmy said. "Okay." I giggled.
