"You can try to make up with me. " He said hoarsely with his intense eyes boring into me as if he was here to steal me from me.
" You know what you are asking me after what happened between us? " I said. That was just his adamant to get his family. He was still seeing me as the one who betrayed him and walked away from him.
" I just want to forget everything and get my kids and.. and you. " He said placing his hand on my shoulder erupting butterflies in my stomach for a while then scaring me by rubbing the scalp on the back on my head.
His fingers ran the way it used to. He was feeling me as his eyes shut and he leaned towards me, slowly opening the eyes in the process. I knew I would give up if I let him kiss still I waited for what I was going to get.
When our lips were just an inch apart, he stopped and his desiring eyes contorted with confusion. I was always able to read him and so I read the sadness in them due the fact he believed that I loved Shubham.
Immediately turning my head, I palmed on his chest and pushed him aside to strode away but he caught my wrist and swirled me in my heels that I fell in his strong and intimidating arms.

" I will try to make up with you the day when you will do what I always expected of you from the very first day. " I said moving few steps back from him and standing straight in front of him.
" What do you expect of me? " He asked coming over to me securing his hands firmly on my waist from behind.

" I am sorry. " He mumbled again when I remained silent for long.
I had no idea why he went on saying sorry from the beginning.
