"I have decided that I will go back to India with him. " I told everyone holding Dev's hand. My face showed the concern for my friends who didn't want me do this without giving myself enough time.
Actually that's what we have been doing all this time. I thought being away with him and suffering was hardest thing but these days with him without sharing a word knowing how much we loved and cared for each other turned out to be the hardest thing ever.
I knew it was same for him. Watching me so cold and angry was worst than without me. At least then he thought I betrayed him but now he knew and suffered, dealt with his guilt. Someway he himself wanted to be punished to get away from the guilt but how naive of him? He didn't know that of you love someone and hurt them unknowingly you yourself don't accept any punishment enough to repent. I would have punished him, I did but still he was with his guilt same as the first day.
" I was waiting to come back home to tell you all about it. We are one again!" I added as he wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed my head.
" Okay?! So how will you explain those babies about him? They are small but can they take it like see this is your father, call him dad? " Sanya shouted.
" We both explained them today Sanya. Arjun is with them now. They are fine. " I said confidently even though my heart hot heavy imagining their innocent questions they would ask.
" Okay. If you have decided then go ahead. When are you leaving?" She asked glaring Dev.
" After doing my part of work. I won't leave you hanging here. " I said reaching to her.
" It's okay Arohi. We will see to it. You don't have to wait because of the business. " Rajveer said trying to be cool about it but his face spoke how he was as feeling from inside.
" You want me to leave soon, huh? " I laughed a bit before hugging him.
" Oh common! I always wanted you so why would I? But now I accept that you both look beautiful together. So I am saying don't wait to love each other. " He said to me lovingly and looked back.
" Congratulations! You got the most beautiful woman for yourself, the most handsome man. " His tone was quite sarcastic and I had no issues with that. The man who helped me all this time couldn't be wrong. It was his anger speaking for a while. Amidst all this was Arjun who just smiled and winked at us.
I opened my eyes to find Dev stare at me intently. His brows were together and face deemed of pain and guilt.
We were in our room, wait our? Yes and I was sitting leaning of the bed post while Dev was sleeping on my lap. I lowered and kissed his head.
