35. Lost And Left!

Three weeks already passed away with me carrying the burden that bowed me down each time I followed them. Akash called me and asked to meet him today at some complex where construction was going on. He gave me specific position to where I would wait for him, to be exact.

At first, I wasn't going to take risk with my babies life but when he said this would the last thing he would want want from me, averted my decision on his side.

Dev was busy with his work when I called him to tell that I was going to meet Arun as an excuse. I occasionally met him as Dev allowed me to, except that he never left me alone, either him or his bodyguards accompanied me wherever I went.

But now I was standing alone in that place without Dev having the slightest idea of it. It was stupid to believe Akash but I had no option when I searched for any. It was me who was supposed to handle this and so I was doing it.

Akash told he was letting me meet Shubham today. I had everything planned to trap him to meet me so Dev stop worrying about our well being. That man needed money so I thought of using it to catch him.

"What do you want from me? " I asked him trying to look brave.

" Nothing much just change the quotations for his new project he is thinking of with this. " Akash extended the file to me and I took it.

I knew I wasn't doing it still I shook my head in positivity. I was going to tell everything to Dev after this, after I get to see Shubham.

" Where is Shubham? " I asked him turning the pages of the file to find it really the complete detailed report.

" Have patience flower! You will see him soon. " He said as he got near to me and trailed his fingers on my cheeks.

I yanked his hand away from me and pushed him by chest," Don't dare to touch me! "

" What will you do if I - " He enclosed the distance more as he clasped my neck to reach my lips. My hands punched him in vein.

"Don't you dare! I reported against you already. If anything happens you will found yourself under bars. Leave me!" I said aloud still pushing him hard.

"We will see to that later flower. I am keen to know how you feel now. " He said just before his lips touched mine. I hit something hard from back. He kissed me harshly, evading each corner. He parted and smiled bitterly.

I took all of my strength and pushed him away from me that he stumbled few steps back. I rubbed my lips trying to get him out of my mouth.

" You taste much more incredible now. Let me kiss me once more flower. I know you like it too. Remember how we shared your first kiss. " He said and I shut my eyes thinking of the times he used to kiss me. It disgusted me. I couldn't think of the way to erase him from my head. All of my past hurled back in the canvas of my mind.

" You loved me, right? " He said aloud, just next to my ear rubbing my bare skin. I opened my eyes and my hands raised up to slap his face the way I always did before he ran away somewhere.

But before I could slap him, he was thrown on the ground by two hands. I could barely see the person as it all happened in seconds that he jumped upon him and started punching and cursing him.
