30. Having Time

Ferlin's POV

Nasagarden ako ng bahay namin nila Melanie ng dumating isa-isa ang mga kapatid ko galing sa school. Kahit sila Cezille, Nadine at Kaya May ay dumating na rin naisipan kasi namin na tumira na kaming lahat sa iisang bahay at dahil mas malaki ang bahay namin nila Melanie ay ito na ang napili namin na gamitin. And papaupahan na lang namin yung bahay namin nila Cezille pero hindi namin ibbenta iyon dahil bahay parin namin iyon.

"Unnie, dinner is ready" Mary Ann came in front of me then iniwan na ako. Kaharap ko kasi ang laptop ko na puro documents tungkol sa business namin ang laman.

Nagstay pa ako ng ilang minuto bago tumayo at iniwan muna iyon doon dahil kampante ako na hindi iyon mawawala doon.

Pagpasok ko sa dining area ay nandoon na lahat ng mga kapatid ko even Melanie.

"We thought umuwi ka ng maaga for you to get rest" Melanie told me when I sat at my chair. Never akong dapat mawala sa upuan na inuupuan ko ngayon dahil ako ang pinakamatanda sa aming lahat. Even Melanie na nasa left side ko and Cezille na nasa right side ko naman. But our sisters, we let them sit whenever they want to sit as long they will behave.

"Can't do that" I said as I grab the bowl of rice.

"Unnie" Si Kaya May na pinaglalaruan ang kutsyara sa kamay nito. Tinignan ko naman ito at naghihintay sa sasabihin nito.

"What is it?" I asked her then sumubo ng ulam at sinunod ang kanin.

"Kuhaan kasi ng card namin nila Nadine for tomorrow" She said na hindi ko nakailangang magtanong pa dito kung anong meron doon. Ako lang naman kasi lagi ang kumukuha ng card ng mga kapatid ko kailangan ko kasing makita kung stable parin ang grades nila. Hindi naman nila kasi kailangang maging top they just need to do their best that's all wag lang makakakuha ng mababa dahil punishment is waiting for them.

"What time?" I asked

"3:30 is the distribution of cards but the exact time is 2:00 well you know our teacher will discuss about something" She answered while drinking her strawberry juice.

"I will be there" I said then we continue to eat.

"Unnie" Si Edlea naman ang tumawag sa akin.

"Yes, saeng?"

"Well you know next month is my parents anniversary" Saad nito na ikinalingon naming lahat sa kanya. Kapag kasi may anniversary ang parents namin lagi kaming more than a week nawawala sa school or sa work.

"Lets talk about that" I said then prepare to hear my sisters words about this anniversary thingy.

"Well this time my parents decided to celebrate their anniversary at Paris where they actually first met" My sister Edlea started that made us smile well we all know about that first time meeting. "My siblings will be there 1 week before the exact date" She added while still continuing her food as we are too.

"Its May 12 right, and that is..... Wednesday. After or before first week of May make sure that May 11 up to 18 your schedule at any cases should be free" I said na puro tango lang ang isinagot nila sa akin. "Good as I make myself clear? So anything that we should still talk about?" I asked them before eating my last rice in my spoon then drink some of my mango shake. Nang walang nagsasalita ay nagsalita na ako.

"Well as I know all of you know her Patricia Balingit is having her 16th birthday tomorrow evening so I received her invitation card a while ago when I got home" I start then wait for their reaction.

"Really, so finally she decided to have her birthday party after her last memorable 10th birthday" Sarcastic na saad ni Cezille na ikinatawa ng mga kapatid ko. I know what their talking about if I'm her position I myself will be ashamed after that birthday party if I'm her too.
