my brother has to go and learn about court and law things. pretty much just some bORING SHIT so me, being a great sister, am gonna send him memes while he's doing this so he doesnt have to suffer.

also, the song above, is gReat they played it in Rick and Morty and holy shit does it make everything depressing at the end. lol i listened to it while writing. maybe i'll include some random song in the chapter in case you all want new music. I always need new music so. anyway, enJOY

My eyes slowly fluttered open, and immediately didn't recognize the room, or who I was with. I quickly tried to sit up, but a pair or arms stopped me. I look up to see Lance, sleeping peacefully. 'Shit..' I thought to myself. Lance mumbled something in his sleep, and brought me closer to him. I blushed a bright pink, not knowing what to do. Currently, I had 3 options. 1, go back to sleep, 2, wake Lance up, or 3, lay there until he wakes up. Option 1 was a no, since I wasn't tired anymore. I really didn't want to wake Lance up, so I might just have to-

"Mmm...oh, good morning Princess," I was interrupted from my thoughts when I heard Lance speak. I looked up, seeing his blue eyes. "G-Good morning," I blushed a bright pink, making him smirk. "How's my Princess doing? Did she sleep well?" He held me close as he talked, making me blush more. It then hit me that he kept saying 'Princess.' Did he think I was Allura? "What's with the sad look? Are you feeling okay?" I looked back up at him, hoping he didn't think I was Allura. "Um..Lance? You know I'm (Y/n), right? I'm not the princess," He looked down at me, surprised, then he laughed. "I know its you, silly. I consider you my princess, not Allura. Even though she technially is the princess," I smiled as I wrapped my arms around his neck. He kept his arms around my waist, as the room went quiet.

"Hey Lance?" He hummed in response, signalling for me continue. "What time is it?" I asked, sitting up and looking around the room. "It's pretty early in the morning. No one wanted to let you sleep in, in case something like this would happened, so I told them that if you woke up, I would stay awake with you so you wouldn't have to be alone," Lance sat up as well, starting to chuckle at your appearance. My hair was strung all over the place, and my eyes had bags under them. Even before we were in the castle with Allura and Coran and all, I had been staying up late almost every night. Either I couldn't sleep, or I was up late studying, or I was freaking out about something. It was like everything in the world kept me awake at night. Usually when I do get sleep, I sleep for a long time, like the previous day. Lance laid back down and pulled me down as well. "(Y/n), I know that you never sleep well, and I know your not tired now, but try to get some more sleep," Lance wrapped his arms around my waist again, and pulled me close. "Yeah...alright," I mumbled as I clung to his shirt. I closed me eyes, and fell asleep once again.

"Lance! (Y/n)?!" I heard someone yelling, and it had startled me awake. I moaned, and slowly sat up rubbing my eyes. "Geez Keith, do you have to be so loud?" Lance sat up as well, glaring at Keith. "You were supposed to take her to her room, not yours! Why are you sleeping with her?!" I got up and out of bed and walked over to Keith. I hugged him, and I stood on my tip toes, so he could hear me better, since I as talking quietly. "I wanted Lance to sleep with me. I didn't want to be left alone. Don't be mad at Lance, you can be mad at me," I had let him go and stared into his eyes. "Oh..well, I thought he was trying to take advantage of you," Keith scratched the back of his head, and I smiled up at him. "Everything is fine, Keith. We'll get dressed and meet everyone in the main room, okay?" He nodded and soon left. I turned around and looked back at Lance, his face a bright red. "I'm gonna go get dressed, I'll see you out there," I quickly walked over and hugged him, then left the room to go to mine.

Once I entered my room, I shut the door and got dressed. I found a couple hair ties so I pulled my hair up into a pony tail. (if your hair is to short, then just say you brushed through your hair or something) I looked over and saw my sewing things still on my nightstand. 'I'll get back to that today. I'll have to apologize to the mice for taking longer then I thought I would be,'

I walked out and met up with the rest of the paladins. "Good morning (Y/n)! Did you sleep well this past day?" Allura smiled as she turned to me. "Yes I did. Thank you," I smiled back. She nodded and turned to talk about whatever it was she was going on about. After she was done, everyone split off to train. Before I could leave, Allura stopped me.

"If you want, I can help you train while everyone else is busy. That way, no onr can bother you or tell you that you can't learn to fight," I thanked Allura once again, and accepted her offer. "I just need to finish up with my sewing project, then I'll start to train," "I understand. Finish it soon then!" Allura waved as she walked to somewhere else in the castle. I smiled and walked back to my room. Once I sat down on my bed, I picked up my sewing needle and finished what I needed too.
