I stayed behind with Shiro and Lance, in case the blue paladin woke up. "We need to move," Shiro stated, as he stood up, holding Lance. I stood beside him, worried. "Sendak and his crew, are coming for the castle. I know your upset, but we need to hurry," Shiro looked down at me, and I looked up at him. I nodded, and looked forward as we walked.

Shiro stopped, and layed Lance down by a pillar. "(Y/n), you're not ready to fight, and I don't expect you to be able to carry Lance. I want you to turn around and run," I looled up at Shiro, but he kept his eyes on Sendak approaching. "Shiro, what if you-" "Don't worry about me," He cut me off. "Just go. Run," His hand started to glow, and I sighed. I knew I was gonna end up getting in the way, and starting an arguement would waste time. I looked over at the sleeping paladin, and wished that he could get through this. He can't leave me hanging like this. I took off the other way, not looking back. "Sir! The girl is trying to escape!" I heard Haxus yell from behind me. "Once we capture Champion, we'll go after her. She won't be hard to catch," I closed my eyes and I ran faster.

I stopped and leaned against a pillar, gaspimg for breath. I tried my best to stay out of sight from the Galra troops, but it was getting harder to by the minute. I pushed myself to run around the corner, but I was stopped by a soldier standing in front of me. My eyes widened, and I tried to turn around, but another soldier was there.

They both grabbed me and started to drag me down the hall. I kicked and tried to loosen their grip, but nothing worked. I then screamed, and they immediately covered their ears. I got up and ran as fast I could from them. "Get her!" I heard one of them yell. 'As soon as this is over, Allura is gonna have to teach me to fight. I hate being useless like this,' I took sharp turns around the corners of the hall, until I lost them. There was a window in the hallway I was in, and when I looked out, I saw two figures running towards the castle. "That looks like...Keith and Allura!" I then saw the particle barrier surround the castle.

"They didn't make it in time," I mumbled to myself, as I watched them. I heard footsteps approaching, amd I tried to move in time, but the soldiers captured me. This time, they covered my mouth so I couldn't scream. I thrashed around, but they had an iron grip on me. 'Sorry Shiro...'

"Finally, you got the girl. Took you long enough," I was thrown to the ground in front of Sendak, as he spoke. I tried to sit up on my knees, but a foot pushed against my back, forcing me on the ground. "You can stay there. Stupid little- Oh, are you awake now?" I was faced the other way, so I couldn't tell who he was talking about. "(Y/n)?! Get off of her, now!" Sendak pushed harder, making me groan. He soon moved his foot, and I turned my body to look over at where he was going.

Shiro was on his knees, beaten and bloody, and Lance was beside him. Shiro looked over at me, and his eyes widened. "Do you like her like that? Fear written across her face, her hands and ankles bound so she can't move, and tape over her mouth so all she can do is make noise?" He asked, turning and looking over at me. He smirked, as I stared at him. "Let her go! She isn't royal, or a paladin! She's just an innocent being!" Shiro shouted, and Sendak kicked him in the stomach. I tried to yell, but the tape made it so I couldn't. "She may not be, but she's something else. She's special," He walked back over to me, and grabbed me by my hair.

He yanked me up, making me groan. "Oh yes, Haggar will love using you for her experiments," I looked at him in fear, and he cackled, dropping me. I fell to the floor, hitting my head hard. I looked over at Shiro, and he gave me a sincere look. Just then, The castle had alarms blaring and a video camera appeared on the screen. I looked up and saw Pidge and Rover, leaving a room. "Eliminate him. Now," Soldiers obeyed Sendak's command and they took off.

The Galra officer turned to me, and used his prosthetic hand to pick me up. He used his other hand to rip off the tape from my mouth. "So, young girl, how would you like be apart of Lady Haggar's experiments?" He chuckled. "I don't want to be apart of anything dealing with Zarkon or this Lady Haggar girl! Let me go!" I squirmed in his grip, trying to escape him. He squeezed me tighter, making me cry out in pain. "(Y/n)!" Shiro called out my name. Sendak stopped squeezing, but he didn't let me go.

"I see you're loved by all the paladins here, are you not?" I didn't answer him, fearing that he would crush me if I lied to him. "Answer me!" He started to squeeze me again. I trembled in fear, and tried to speak. "N-Not really, sir. I-I'm not even supposed to be here anyway! I don't have a lion to pilot, the Alteans d-don't need me, and I can't save anyone, or thing. S-So no, I'm not loved by all," Tears started to fall down my face. I lied to him, and I hoped that it was enough to convince him. I knew myself that everyone at least liked me, and Lance confessed to me moments before. I looked over at Shiro, to see him look at me, shocked. I turned my attention back to Sendak.

"Hm..It is interesting that you feel that way. Whatever," He threw me across the room, and I slammed into a wall. I cried out in pain as I fell, not being able to get up. I started to get dizzy, and I couldn't hear very well. I watched Sendak walk over and grab Shiro, as he spoke into a radio. He then electrocuted the paladin, and I could hear him in pain.

I tried to stand, but I fell to my knees quickly. "Stop it, leave him alone!" I yelled at Sendak, but I don't think he heard me. After he was done, he dropped Shiro and headed to the control panel. I was laying on the floor while he tried to get the ship to work, so that it would leave Arus. I looked over at Shiro, seeing his eyes closed. 'Pidge, I know I saw you here in the castle. Please..please help us,'
