"Sorry, (Y/n)!" Lance yelled, as we got hit by Myzak's attack again. I held onto his seat tightly, almost loosing my grip multiple times. "Everytime we focus on the monster, we get hit by the orb! Everytime we focus on the orb, we get hit by the monster!" Hunk cried out. I looked up at Myzak, seeing him throw the orb again. "Guys, move!" I yelled. It was too late though. We got slammed, and this time I let go of the seat. "(Y/n)!" Lance yelled as I flew across the lion. My back slammed against the wall, making me cry out in pain. "(Y/n)?! Lance, what is going on?!" Keith yelled into his mic. The rest of the crew's faces appeared on the screen, as I struggled to get back up. I hit the wall so hard, it knocked the wind out of me. I coughed, and struggled to breathe. My eyes widened and I started to panic. "(Y/n)?! Are you alright?! Lance you said you would protect her!" Keith yelled at Lance.
"Looks like she just lost her breath. She'll be fine in a moment," Shiro reassured as I stood. I regained my breath, and slowly walked back to Lance. He quickly grabbed my wrist and sat me down on his lap. I tried to stand, so I wouldn't be in his way, but he forced me down again. "Don't. Move. Just lean back against me and you'll be fine," He spoke sternly. I turned to look at Myzak again, trying to see if I could find a pattern to his movements.
"Wait, I fought this thing before!" Shiro shouted. It went quiet for a moment, before he spoke again. "The orb has to charge after the third time it's thrown. While it's charging, we attack," I smiled as he spoke, glad that he figured out how to defeat Myzak.
It took awhile, but they finally defeated the alien. Allurs decided that we would have a party for the small people, since we were on their planet. Allurs said we had a couple hours or so, before they showed up. The lions returned to the hangars, and before I could stand, Lance moved one arm under my legs, and another under my upper back.
He stood and carried me bridal style out of his lion. "Lance, you don't have to-" "I said I wouldn't let you get hurt, but I did. You kinda scared me there when you couldn't breathe. You scared all of us," Lance didn't bother looking down at me. By the way he talked, he acted like I had almost died. Before I could reply, the other paladins walked out of their lions. Keith rushed up to Lance, furious with him.
"You said nothing would happen! You said she would be fine! Then next thing you know, she's gasping for air cause she can't breathe!" Lance didn't respond. He just stared at the floor. "Keith, I'm fine. I just wasn't ready for the impact, okay? It's my fault for letting go. Don't get so worked up," I spoke quietly, almost mumbling as I looked up at Keith. Shiro came behind him and put his hand on his shoulder. "I told you she would be fine, didn't I? Lance made sure she was safe. After thst incident, he made sure it didn't happen again," Shiro smiled softly, making Keith sigh. "Why are you even carrying her? Give her here-"
"No," Lance suddenly spoke, startling me. "No, you can't have her. I messed up, okay? I'm sorry. I'm gonna make it up though!" Lance yelled, causing us all be startled. He quickly turned and walked away from the red paladin, ignoring everyone's cries for him to come back. He soon dropped me off in my room. Before leaving, he stopped snd spoke go me. "Make sure to dress nicely. I still need to talk to you tonight," He quickly left, leaving me there confused.
"That dress fits you so nicely! It isn't uncomfortable, is it?" Allura asked excited. "Nope, it fots just right," I smiled, looking in the mirror at the dress.

"Thank you again, Allura. It's beautiful," I sighed happily. She clapped her hands together and smiled. "You're welcome! Now hurry, our guests already started arriving awhile ago," She quickly left the room, leaving me to myself. I already knew no one else was going to, or could be dressed up, but I wanted to look presentable for the Arusians. I walked out quickly, soon entering the main room, where everyone was.
I made my way to Lance, Hunk, and Keith quietly, making sure they didn't notice me. My plan wasn't success though, because lots of the Arusians started to crowd around me, making the theee paladins turn their attention towards me as well. I thanked them for the comments, as I made my way to the blue paladin. He looked upset, and almost as if he was going to cry. "Hey, you okay?" I asked, putting my hand on his shoulder. "Yeah, I'm fine. Come with me," He dismissed my question, and grabbed my hand leading me out of the crowded room.
We stopped in the control room, but Lance never let go of my hand. "Lance, I-" Lance grabbed my wrists and pinned them above you, while pushing you against the wall, making me stop what I was saying. He smashed his lips into mine, kissing me roughly. I stared at him wide-eyed, but soon closed my eyes and kissed back. He held my wrists up with one hand, and moved his other to my waist. He pushed against me, making my blush even more then I already was. He licked my bottom lip for entrance, but I denied. He smiled, and moved his hand to my butt. I gasped, and he kissed me deeper, but only for a moment. He smiled as he let me go, and stepped back.
"I-I'm sorry, (Y/n), but I have to come clean. I really like you. Like, really really like you. Maybe I could say I'm in love? I just needed to tell you and I'm sorry I came onto you like that-" I giggled and pressed my lips gently to his. He immediately kissed back, and he grabbed the sides of my arms. I pulled away, to see a beight red blush on his cheeks. "Lance, you're fine. Honestly, I..I like you too," I blushed and turned to look at the floor, but he moved his hand under my chin, and forced me to look up. We both smiled, and laughed a little. "I'm glad," Lance said as we started to walk back.
He held my hand, as we walked. We soon saw Rover, who was flying towards the middle of the room. "Hi Rover!" I waved and smiled at the small robot. For some reason, he was beeping. Lance stopped walking, stopping me as well. "That's not Rover..It's a bomb! (Y/n)!" He yelled as he the robot exploded. He tackled me to the ground, shielding me from the explosion. Soon, everyone came running into the room. I groaned and felt a weight being moved off me. Hunk helped me up from the floor, as I coughed. My eyes widened as I spun around. "Lance!" I yelled as I saw Shiro cradling him in his arms.
