"Shouldn't you be in Erwin's carriage?" Hanji asks as Levi steps into the carriage that Hanji reserved for Eren and I.

"I have to keep an eye on the brat," Levi replies.

As we step in one by one, I sit beside Hanji, and Eren sits with Levi.

I prop my head up on my hand and lean against the window, my heavy eyelids and exhaustion taking over.

"Are you really going to sleep?" Hanji whines. "We just got in, did you sleep well?"

"I didn't sleep too long," I confess.

"Oh. No one's stopping you, then."

It's early morning, and we'll be at the Karanese district by nightfall. I get goosebumps from the cold.

"Here," Eren takes off his green cloak and places it on my lap.

"Thank you," I grin appreciatively as I drift into slumber.

I poke Estelle's red cheeks playfully as she sleeps. "She's so cute when she's napping," I laugh.

"Very cute," Eren agrees.

Rivaille glares at Eren and looks back out the window, but I notice him glancing towards Estelle on occasion.

"Shorty," he looks over towards me. "What was Estelle like as a kid?"

"She wasn't exactly a kid when I met her," he replies. Even though his voice is stern and his face is stoic, I can see he's interested in talking about her. "She was very clumsy. She dropped things often and was incapable of walking down stairs. That's how we met, actually."

That might have been the most Levi's ever said, I think to myself. "What else was she like?"

"She blushed a lot. And asked many questions."

I nod.

Eren's now taking his turn giving Levi death glares, but his eyes lighten up. "She'd make a great wife."

Levi raises an eyebrow in suspicion. "She wouldn't marry you."

"How would you know?" Eren tests. "I think she'd rather have me than some emotionless asshole like you."

Levi turns to face Eren and a menacing expression overcomes his face. "Tell me, Eren, how many times has she slept with you?"

I gasp, and give Levi a look that says we're-definitely-going-to-have-a-talk-about-this-later, before snapping, "Both of you, stop behaving like children. Eren, trade places with me."

He nods and slides in beside Estelle, readjusting his green cloak around her waist. Levi looks outside of the window, anger written all over his face.

I let out a sigh and readjust my glasses. "I know the two of you like her, but this needs to stop. You're lucky she hasn't heard one of these arguments yet, it's ridiculous."

They both nod, and we spend the next few hours in uncomfortable silence.

When I wake up, I'm cuddled up against Eren. I try to rub my eyes when I feel his hand interlocked with mine.

"Sorry," he mumbles, releasing it.

"It's okay."

"What perfect timing, we just got here," Hanji informs. "I can't wait to meet your mom."
