The cloaked figure is out of sight for a moment, and within seconds, I watch as the once empty space now holds a Titan out of thin air.
I grimace, knowing that very well the next few choices we make could be our last.
"So it's really her! She's coming!" Erd hollers frantically. "The Female Titan is closing in!"
"Shit! I've had enough!" Eren yells. "This is it, I'm going to fight her!"
"No, you won't!" Erd objects. "The four of us will fight her, you and Estelle need to go with the Commander!"
"No," I argue. "Eren can go, I'm helping."
"Are you saying you don't believe in our abilities, brat?" Auruo tests.
"Believe in us, please!" Petra looks as though she's close to tears.
"I believe in my squad's victory!" Eren faces forward and moves away from us.
I stay still, and as Erd looks as though he's about to protest, I say, "I believe in my judgement, and my judgement says I need to help."
Erd nods and the Titan approaches us, swatting at them.
They take out the Titan's eyes, and I aim for the shoulders as they get the tendons surrounding the ankles.
As it covers the sensitive spot on its neck, I snicker.
They join me in attacking the flesh on the shoulders, and I back up as soon as the arms fall down.
I watch and take notice of the right eye subtly moving. "This isn't right," I whisper, noticing Erd close in on it.
"Erd, no!" I yell, slamming my body into his so that he's out of reach from the mouth.
Just then, a big blue eye scans over us.
As I move back to my position on the tree, I evaluate the situation. "She used her energy to regenerate only one eye," I call to them. "For all we know, she can do the same with her arms."
She stands, jogging towards Petra, and I attack her ankle quickly, severing multiple points in her left and right calves.
Before she half-collapses, she uses the rest of her energy on kicking me backwards.
I roll on the ground, eyes widened.
Looking around, I see Petra on the tree with the other four of the squad. They look at me, worried.
I point towards the sky, and they fly up nineteen meters from the ground, safe from the fourteen meter class Titan we're facing.
It decides to run towards Eren, forgetting about us.
Flying up to them, I wipe the dirt from my face. Erd appears to be lightly wounded, Petra terrified.
It's then that I see Eren transforming from the distance, and I shake my head.
"You all almost died!" I holler. "How could you?!"
They look at me insurprise and anguish.
"I'm sorry," Petra speaks. "She's more intelligent than I thought."
I nod.
"Petra and Gunther," Erd says. "The two of you are going to find the Commander and inform him of the situation, and look for Levi along the way." He pauses as Eren screams in his Titan form.
"But Erd, are you sure you want us to go?"
"Yes," he looks at me and smiles for the first time since I've met him, "I believe in my judgement."
