After Ryan left me in my room I walked towards the closet to change my dress as it was ruined in the garden. When I came out I still felt a bit restless, what I saw in the garden was definitely not something normal. It had a hideous appearance, pure black hollow eyes and skeleton face. Its aura was frightening. Thinking about it gave me chills down my spine. I walked towards the open window and closed it. I didn't wanted to take any risk about encountering any more evil creatures. I sighed and lied down on my bed, after a while I dozed off.

I felt something scratch my back as I rolled over to the other side. I snapped my eyes open to see that I wasn't in my room anymore, I was lying on the ground of what looks like a forest but it was more creepy unlike any other forests. I got up on my legs and looked around, no one was to be seen but only darkness as the only source of light was the moon. It scared me to death. I didn't actually liked to be in dark and certainly I don't like it when I am alone. I gulped audibly when I heard a twig snap behind me.
I turned around sharply and my breath hitched when I saw the same creature from the garden except it was not alone this time there were five of them and they looked like they were ready to kill me. I turned around and ran in the opposite direction for my dear life. I didn't knew where I was going but I just wanted to get away from them. Sharp broken branches of the trees hurts my feet but I didn't stop. I turned my head slightly to see if they were chasing me and to my dismay they were. I increased my pace even though my feet were bleeding right now but I didn't care. Panic was rising in me by every passing second and I was running out of breath. The pain in my feet became unbearable. They were nearing me and there were swords filled with blood in their hands.
I tripped over something and fell on the ground, scratching my elbows. Before I could get up and start running again, I was surrounded by those creatures. I was panting hard and my vision blurred due to the newly formed tears. One of them raised the sword aiming it towards me and I let out a blood curdling scream while covering my face with my hands.

I woke up in my bed with sweat dripping from my forehead. My breaths were uneven and I looked around frantically to make sure that no one was in the room. I rubbed my hand on my forehead and sighed loudly in relief. It was just a dream, no it was a nightmare. I can't sleep now, even if I tried. So I decided to go and get myself some water from the kitchen. As soon as I stepped down from my bed, I cried out in pain. My feet were aching hard. I sat down on the bed to examine my feet and I froze when I saw blood oozing out of them. I panicked and made my way slowly towards the mirror while avoiding my aching feet and examined my back. There were scratch marks on it. A new terror seized me.
I thought it was a nightmare. If it actually happened then how am I again in the room? I don't know what's happening with me. I left my room hurriedly to go to the only safe place I knew, which was Ryan's room.
I knocked on the door softly, and the door was opened by a shirtless Ryan but at the moment I didn't cared. I just wanted to be safe and away from all the threatening creatures. His expressions were of annoyance which softened after seeing my frightened face. "What are you doing here?" He asked in a sleepy manner. "I-I couldn't sleep-p. I had a-a night-nightmare. I was scar-ed." I stuttered and bit my lip while looking down.
"Its okay! You can sleep here for today." He said and moved slightly gesturing me to enter the room. As i entered, he exclaimed "You are bleeding." And I didn't know what to say so I just stood there like a statue. "Tell me where are you hurt? It's a hell load of blood, I can smell it." He asked frantically searching for any injury. I nervously pointed towards my feet and he got down on his knees to examine it. He sighed and lifted me up bridal style and took me towards the huge king sized bed. He placed me there and went to the bathroom. He bought something looking like a first aid kit and placed it beside me. He himself sat down on the floor so he can tend to my injuries.
"What the hell were you trying to do that you hurt yourself so bad?" He asked while cleaning the wound and I decided to tell him the truth. "I-I had a nightmare. Th-the same creature which I saw in the gar-garden, they tried to kil-ll me. I ran barefoot-t on the fo-forest ground and got those wounds from the broken branches." I explained. "What? You said it was a nightmare so how are the wounds real?'' He asked confusedly. "Uh..... I don't kn-know. Bu-t when I-I woke up they-y were there-e." I said and bit my lower lip nervously with tears in my eyes. He furrowed his brows and sat up on the bed. "Hey! It's going to be okay. Don't worry. From now on you will be sleeping in my room to avoid such happenings and in the day time either go to Raven or come to me. I can't risk to leave you alone now that those things can play with your mind and give you those bruises. Do you understand.'' He asked as if I was a child and I nodded obediently.
"I will figure it out that who the hell is trying to hurt my mate. I promise you Valerie I won't let anyone hurt what's mine." He said it with such sincerity, staring right at my eyes, that I couldn't help but look at his heavenly face. Then I nodded my head with a small smile on my lips and hugged him. After a while he wrapped his arms around me and I felt like that was the safest place for me to be.
"I trust you." I whispered lowly. He pulled away with a grin on his face and urged me a sleep. I slept peacefully as if the previous incidents didn't happened at all.
