Val's POV

My lungs were throbbing and my head was pounding really bad. My eyes were closed but I can feel something really soft underneath me. It felt like I was lying on a cloud. Whatever it was, it was really comfortable. I wasn't used to such comfort. My bed was never this soft rather it was far from being soft.

I wanted to open my eyes but it seemed impossible to do so. I tried to remember what happened before I fell asleep and then it hit me like a ton of bricks. I didn't fell asleep, I blacked out in the lake. So, am I dead? But I can recall that I saw a silhouette of something before blacking out, and I can't remember what happened after that. What if the wolf got me?

I panicked, and opened my eyes with whatever strength I had. It hurts a lot. My eyes, legs, lungs, ribs, head everything hurts. It was dark in ...... wherever I was, giving me the idea that it is night time and it seems like the soft thing over which I was lying is actually a bed and not some cloud. So, I am alive. But the thing is where on earth am I?

The room is quite spacious and there is a window on one of the walls which gives the outside view. I slowly removed the silk blanket which was covering me and made my way towards the window. Maybe after seeing the outside view I would be able to comprehend where I am. When I reached near it and looked out I was only able to see woods everywhere. As far as I can see, it was all surrounded by trees of all shapes and sizes. What place is this? Who the hell lives in between of nowhere, with trees all around?

I noticed that the window is quite high from the ground, maybe the room is on the second or third floor......... Now how am I going to get out of here? By now I was terrified as hell. I have no clue where I am or at whose place I am? Is he or she is going to kill me or let me go? It was too much to take in and that worsened my head ache.

And all of a sudden there was a creaking sound of the door being opened. On instant I turned myself towards the sound and there stood a man whose face was not visible due to the darkness. But it was not hard to sense that he was staring at me which made me pretty uncomfortable. I wasn't used to any kind of attention.

The man was a good few inches taller than me. His aura screams danger and he was really intimidating. He had a good physique, I had to give him that. He came nearer and stopped just a few feet's away from me. I on the other hand can't move a limb and was just starring at him transfixed at my position. Pathetic right? Yeah I know!

Now, his face was illuminated by the moonlight coming through the window. And it was the most beautiful face that I had ever seen. Just looking at him made my heart race. He had those ocean blue eyes in which you can loose yourself. His hair were pitch black and his face was extremely pale. He appeared to be of the same age as me, which was 19. He was dressed in all black..... "You know its rude to stare at a stranger." He spoke with a voice which could force you to go weak on your knees. He seemed quite amused that I was actually starring at him, like nobody has ever dared to do so. I could not respond to him.

In spite of his devilishly handsome looks, his aura was still intimidating. I can't help but be scared of him. He came more closer than he was before and I started to move backwards, not even three steps back and my back was already against the window. I looked at him and his face was just inches apart from mine, I gasped at the close proximity. I have never been this close to a boy. My heart was totally out of control right now.

His eyes were locked with mine and he whispered "You weren't supposed to cross that lake sweetheart!" and my heart just stopped beating right then and there.

I WAS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WOODS !!!!
