Marie's POV
Remember when I said that Mrs Sampson loves Jade? Well, she hates Nate. Like, a lot.
When the flour went all over the place, he started throwing it at Jade.
Not only was Jade pissed, but so was Mrs Sampson.
"You are only given the exact amount of flour sacks that needed for the project. I have a couple extra sugar packs left, so I guess you can use one of those. I'm taking five points off of your grade and you're also cleaning the mess." Mrs Sampson spat. She was never in the mood for him.
"But Mrs Sampson, I didn't do anything. I don't want to lose points. We're working on it together." Jade pleaded.
Mrs Sampson thought for a moment. "I forgot you were his partner. Fine, but just this one time."
Jade smiled to herself, pleased with her ability to get out of trouble.
"Who's the kiss-up now? So funny how the tables have turned." I winked at Jade. She was about to defend herself but realized there was no use.
Nate came over to Jade and wrapped his arms around her waist. "Hey, J, now that we have to make our baby out of sugar and not flour, would that make you my sugar mama?"
We all laughed at that one. Jade rolled her eyes. "Whatever you say, babe." Nate pecked her lips and smiled because he was able to redeem himself from earlier.
We all worked in our pairs to create our babies. In the end, I thought they looked pretty good.
"Hey baby, can we take a picture with Jade's baby and ours?" Leo asked over my shoulder.
"That's a great idea!" I grabbed our baby and put her between Jade's twins on the small sofa we had in our classroom for relaxation time.
"Aww, Melody and her two best friends." I teased Jade, knowing how she hated the name.
"Hey kids, don't talk to this girl she's a weirdo. Make better friends. You can't trust a girl named Melody." Jade teased back.
This class is so much fun. I can't wait for our next project.
Or better yet, for all of this to one day be our reality.
