Imperfect (arrow based)

The Past

 I get home and fall on my couch. I need food but I just sat down. Ehh it can wait. I turn on Supernatural because I don't watch anything else. (I do but lexi doesn't lol)

After a couple episodes I decide to get up and find food. I go to the kitchen and look for food. After five minutes of looking I find frozen mac and cheese. I put that in the microwave. I wait for the beep. Couple minutes later I am seated on the couch. I flip through channels and gave up on finding a show. I end up watching the Star City news.

The headlines say Green Arrow hits again. The lady starts talking about this Green Arrow guy. I want to know more so I grab my phone and went to google and googled him. That's weird, the Green Arrow came to Star City the same time Oliver came back from the island. I read more articles and now I am putting the pieces together. Oh my god. Oliver is the Green Arrow. That makes sense. When I spent the night at Oliver's he left after he thought I was sleeping and then he came back a couple hours later. With a couple bruises on him. They weren't there before he left. How am I gonna ask him or tell do I tell him I know. Or should I just bring it up in the conversation.

BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ

My phone can't stop buzzing. I pick it up and it's a text from Oliver.

Hey I will be by to pick you up in half an hour. Good?

I reply Yeah great thank you:) <3

Time to get ready. I get up and head to my bathroom to get my makeup bag and then head to my room. I get settled in front of my mirror and got started. It took me 15 minutes to do my hair and makeup. Now time to find my outfit. I grab my black on black converse, black leggings, and a white tank top with some jewel details on my chest area. I head to the living room and sit on the couch and wait for Oliver.

DING DONG

I stand up and walk to the door. I open it and see Oliver wearing a tux under a blue wool coat.

"Look you gorgeous Lexi" He said with his sparkling eyes.

"Thanks, not to bad yourself Queenie." I end with a giggle.

"Shall we go" Oliver says as he puts his hand out for me to hold. I take it and shut my door and we start to walk.

We get to the car and Oliver opens the door for me. I get in and I am actually more excited about this then I thought I would be. I actually hope this works. I hope me and ollie work. I just realized how much Oliver affects me. I hope he needs me as much as I need him. We had a very awkward car ride. We just sat there in silence. I was waiting for him to talk but I think he was waiting for me too.

"You're the Green Arrow" I blurted out and turned my head to Oliver to see how he responds.

"Lexi...." Oliver started but then ended.

"Oliver isn't wasn't that hard to put together. The Green Arrow came here the same time you came home. Oliver you left the night we hooked up. You thought I was sleeping, but I guess I wasn't . I went to cuddle and you weren't there and you weren't just in the kitchen because I woke up and I couldn't sleep. Then I heard the door open and I laid back down and pretended to sleep. Oliver you were out of the house for four hours. Oliver I don't really care you didn't tell me but I want to know where you gonna tell me? Was that the plan or were you gonna lie to me?" I say proud of myself.

"Lexi I was gonna tell you eventually. If you stayed that is. Lexi does change anything?" Oliver asks with a little concern.

"Oliver can you pull over for a minute." Said more of a command than question. Oliver pulls over and looks at me.

"Oliver I.....I don't know. I just want to be a part of your life. I know what I said in the past about the being friends and things. But Oliver I realized today and everything that has happened since I met you that I can't just be friends Oliver. I want to be more. Oliver what do you......" Oliver kisses me before I am able to finish.

"Does that answer your question?" He says. I start to laugh.

"Did I ever tell you that your laugh is as pretty as you?" Oliver says.

"I think that has came up one time. Have I ever told you that you have the tendency to make me blush in like five seconds and we can get back to driving because i'm hungry." I end with a smile.

We arrive and Oliver makes me wait for him to open the door for me. He opens my door I send him a thank you look. We enter the restaurant and get seated. Oliver sits on one side of the booth and I sit on the other side. Oliver starts to look over the menu. I looked over the menu and I found what I am gonna get. The waiter comes and takes our order and drinks.

"What are we supposed to talk about?" As I reach my hand across the table for Oliver to grab.

"That's a great question. We could ask each other random questions. You start."

"Umm what do you do for fun?" I ask with a smile of curiosity.

He responds "Workout, train and be you know who and for your turn who is your actor man crush?." he says.

"Probably Jensen Ackles he is pretty hot. What is your dream date?"

"Hanging out and walking around the city at night with all the lights and what is your dream date?"

"I am completely cheesy but it would be a at home movie cuddle date." Oliver lets out a smile. I see the waiter stops and starts to give us our food. We have our food and we start to dig in.

"I think getting pasta with long noodles was a bad idea for a first date." I end with a giggle.

After we finish eating and Oliver pays we head to go back to the car and before we get in Oliver asks me.

"Do you want to go walk."

"Love too." I say as we attach elbows. I start to get goosebumps and Oliver notices. Oliver unlinks elbows and takes off his coat and wraps it around me. Then we relink elbows again and continue walking.

"Ollie"

"Yeh Lex"

"Can I see where you do all your arrow stuff?" I say trying to be as persuasive as I can be.

Oliver turns to look at me and looks away.

"Shall we go?" He asked.

"Yes we shall."
