You'll See

"Can we get lunch?" I say.
"Yeah. I think I know just the place." Oliver says.
"Felicity come with us." I say.
"I have to do this thing." Felicity says pointing at her computer.
"Come on Felicity. Join us." Oliver says.
"Well I guess I can't say no to my boss." She says as she gets up. We get to the car and drive.
"Oliver you are right this is the perfect place." Felicity says as she starts to squeal in excitement.
"Big Belly Burger?" I ask confused.
"They have the best burgers." Oliver says. He says as he parks and Felicity hops out of the car. We walk in and order. I find us a table and we wait for our food. I see Diggle walk through the door. He orders and takes a seat with us. We sit there in silence. Which is hard to believe because both Felicity and I talk a lot. A nice waitress walks out with a tray of our food. She hands our food out.
"Nice to see you Dig." She says before she walks away.
"You know her?" I ask.
"My sister in law." Diggle says before he grabs his burger.
"Ahh." I say and start to eat. This is the best burger I have ever had. Weird name but great food. I think Oliver has got me this once. We all eat and sit in silence. Every once a while someone breaks the silence. I finish and Oliver has started a conversation with the group. I start eating Oliver's fries.
We all finish and leave. We are all in the same car. Oliver is driving and I am in passenger seat. Dig and Felicity are in the back.
"Where are we going?" I ask.
"You will see." Oliver says. We continue to drive for half an hour. We get off the highway. I'm looking around trying to figure out where we are. I see a sign that says. ANIMAL SOCIETY
"Are we?" I ask.
"No, but we are visiting." Oliver says. We get out of the car. We walk in and sign in. They show us to the cat area. I run to the kittens that are cuddled up on a blanket in the corner. I pick one up.(pic above) Oliver smiles as I make him sit and hold different kittens.
"John and Felicity went to the dog section." Oliver says. I look up at him then back at the kittens.
"I could see Dig getting a german shepherd or husky. But I see you a cat person because I think you blue eyes match perfectly with a loyal siamese cat. I mean you can't go wrong with a cat. When you go in your Arrow cases I am alone. But you could get me a cat or husky. I mean husky are more guard dog and cats are more lovers. Or both. What do you think?" I ask Oliver as I pick up another kitten.
"I need something more convincing." Oliver says as he pets two different kittens with one hand.
"Kay." I say as I get up and head to the other side of the room to get more kittens.
"Kay." Oliver says. I secretly think Oliver wants a cat. I mean he hasn't stopped smiling since we got in here.
A couple hours later Oliver had to pull me away from the kittens. Felicity found a dog she really wants and Diggle seems really happy after looking at the animals. We also looked at some bunnies, hamsters, and birds. Oliver drops off Diggle at Big Belly Burger. We head back to Queen Consolidated.
"Now what?" I ask.
"We can go to my place and get you out of that dress and watch some chick flicks." Felicity says. I nod.
"Go ahead. Give me a few seconds." I tell Felicity. She walks out and I turn to Ollie.
"You go home. Take a break. You are done being the CEO, vigilant, friend, and boyfriend. I love you go home you deserve it. I will be by later. Kay?"
"Kay." Oliver says as I give him a quick kiss and walk the the elevator.
I find Felicity's car and get in. I see her jump.
"I'm not that scary. Am I?" I end with a laugh.
"No." She laughs. We listen to the radio and sing along.
"Wanna go shopping?" Felicity asks.
"Do you have different shoes?" I ask her.
"Yeah." She responds.
"Then lets gets some shopping done." I say as I turn the volume higher. We continue to drive and sing along to the radio. We get to the mall. Felicity walk to her trunk and pulls out some flats.
"Ooh my feet thank you." I laugh as I put them on. She also pulls out a pair for her. We get them on and grab our bags and walk into the mall.
"Should we start with something to drink?" She asks.
"We shall." I say as we walk into Starbucks. I get a drink and she gets a drink. We look at some stores. We find some things at each store.
"Now for my favorite store." I say as I walk backwards into Barnes and Noble.
"I wouldn't of known." Felicity says. I started looking around and Felicity looked like a lost puppy.
"Not your kind of story is it?" I ask her looking up at her then back down.
"I'm a different kind of nerd." She says looking at a book.
"Ahh." I say.
"How long have you been a book nerd?" She asks putting down a book.
"Umm. My whole life basically. Books are better than movies. They have way more detail than the movies. But I do like fanfiction because I can use imagery and imagine the characters. But with normal books I can make the characters up. I read a lot during middle school and at recess in elementary school. I use to have a wall full of books. In alphabetical order. I haven't been able to read a good book in a long time. I sold most of them before I moved here. I have a couple boxes of my favorite books. How long have you been doing what you do with computers and hacking?" I ask her.
"Since I was little. I would take computers apart and put them together. In college I went into worse things with hacking and then my boyfriend was taken to jail. I then completely changed and made a better life for myself." She says.
"This sounds good." I say as I read the back of the book.
"Were you?" Felicity asks.
"Yes, you did it since you were little and then things went bad in college. Then you got your life together. Sorry it's just a good book and it's a series. I am getting all of them." I say as I grab the five books.
"Are you interested in any books or next store?" I ask as I look at book marks.
"Next store. I want more dresses." Felicity says. I check out and we walk into another store. I look at the dresses.
"You pay that much?" I say in shocked. She looks at the tag.
"Sometimes. I mostly shop over here." She says as she walks to the section hiding away on the back wall. I grab a beautiful dress and look at the tag.
"This is so much better. I think I might try it on and this one." I say as I grab a couple. I try them on and Felicity try's some on. I end up getting two dresses and Felicity got four.
"Wanna come over and do a small fashion show?" Felicity asks.
"Let me check up and Oliver and then we can go." I say as I grab my phone and call Ollie.
"Hey babe." I say.
"Hey. How is hanging out with Felicity?" Oliver asks.
"Good we decided to go shopping and I bought somethings. Now we are going to her place but I wanted to call you to see you're doing. So how are you?" I ask.
"Good. I came home and now I am being the Green Arrow."
"What? No you aren't supposed to be doing that right now." I say.
"I am just watching for anything. Nothing big. Kay?" Oliver says.
"Kay. But you have to be home at 10." I hang up but before I do I hear Oliver say Kay and I love you.
