Fancy Drink

Fifteen minutes later I hear Felicity click into Verdant with her taller heels on. I turn around and find her with two bags of food.

"Yay, smells good." I say as I grab the bags out of Felicity's grip.

"Oliver still?" She asks.

"Yeah. Let's eat. What can I get you to drink?" I ask he going behind the bar.

"Water, ehh make it fancy. Lemon water." She says.

"Seems easy enough. I hate lemon water but you want it you shall have it." I say finding cups.

"Healthy so I mean probably is nasty." Felicity says taking food out of the bags.

"What did you get?" I ask looking up and looking back down.

"Pancakes, sausage, hashbrowns, and fruit." She says dividing the food.

"Here we go." I say coming out from behind the bar. We get seated and start eating.

"How did it go last night?" I ask before I stuff my mouth with pancakes.

"Good. I think. Barry didn't seem to scared by your words. That I am a little shocked. But we went out to eat then we walked around. Barry is so sweet, I can't even begin to describe him. His eyes they twinkled, his smile like me in a Best Buy, and his touch is like electricity." She says gazing off into the distance.

"My OTP!!" I say.

"Shut up Lexi!" She says annoyed by me.

"Oh you feel the pain now, don't you?" I say laughing at the end.

"Ugh." Felicity says as she eats her mango and pineapple fruit salad.

"What? It is kinda fun. I mean being with a great person and being goals. It's fun." I say.

"Ahh. I see, sorta. Being an inspiration, right? That what you getting to."

"Yes." I say excited. We continue to eat and talk about last night. It's good to see Felicity happy. She deserves to be happy, she helps people. We both do, in my opinion.

"And there isn't anything we can do?" I ask Felicity.

"No, we have to wait. I know it's hard. It's hard for me and I can't even begin to imagine what it is like for you. I'm sorry." Felicity says.

"Like if I punch him can I walk him up?" I ask.

"Way to kill the moment. No it doesn't work like that." She says.

"Yeah I tend to ruin things, moments, people, lives, and things." I say.

"We all do at some time in our lives." Felicity says.

"True true." I say back.

"Wanna go check on him?" Felicity asks.

"Sure." I say putting my garbage in the bag. He head downstairs and go to Oliver.

"Nope still the same." I say checking the charts, Felicity looks.

"Actually no. His heart rate went up." She says looking at the charts then at me.

"What does that mean?"

"He is better than before. Lexi he's even better than he was before." Felicity says.

"That's uh..great. Right?" I say slowly.

"Lexi why are you scared?" Felicity asks.

"I don't know how to explain what happened with Barry. Or maybe he already knows." I say scared.
