Date Night

"Its four." Ollie said.

"Okie" I say as I grab my shoes.

We get to the car. We start driving and I realized the last time I went bowling it was with my parents and brother.

"Ready to lose." I say to Oliver.

"Lex are you getting cocky or scared?" Oliver says as he smiles at me then puts his eyes back on the road. The twinkle never leaves his eyes. No matter how scared, tired, happy, serious, mad, or sarcastic he is. I love it.

"If you lose you have no reason. I do. Hah you lose." I say ending with a slight giggle.

"In the end I win." Oliver says flirty.

"How so?" I ask already knowing what he is talking about. Oliver turns to me and smiles. He also knows that I know. About after ten minutes we arrive. I wait for Oliver to come get my door.

"Well thank you Ollie." I say as I put my hand in his.

"How are the stitches?" Oliver asks trying to be subtle.

"Good. I mean I shouldn't be up and doing things but I'm not one to sit out." I say. We continue to walk to the door. Oliver opens it for me. I go to the counter and ask the guy for my shoes. He gives them to me and I head to find a ball. I found a good weight ball and headed to our lane and got my shoes on.

"So you like green." I say as I see Oliver put a green bowling ball down.

"Seems as I do. You ready to lose?" Oliver says as he puts our names in the computer thing.

"You go first." Oliver says as he hands me my ball.

"I shall." I say as I grab my ball and do a fancy walk. I let it go. It knocked

down 7. I walk back to Oliver.

"I'm not so bad Queenie." I tell him. I see my bowling ball come up. I grab it and go again. I get a spare. I turn around and walk back to Oliver.

"Nice job." Ollie says after he gives me a quick peck. I sit down and watch Oliver go. He does a fancy walk and released the bowling ball. Woah. Ollie got a strike. He turns around and smiles.

"Looks like the games have begun." I say as I go up for my turn.

We continue to play. We both to pretty well. But the first game I had 97 points and Oliver had 127.

"Cocky am I?" Oliver says smile.

"Oh I let you win." I say as I go back up to start a new game. We start game two and I get a couple strikes and Oliver got a couple. But in the end the second game winner is me. I got 153 and Oliver got 132.

"Told you I let you win." I say with a big smile proud of myself.

"Remember I told you earlier that I still win." Oliver says as he wraps his arms around me.

"I love you." I mumble into Oliver's chest.

"What?" He asks wanting to reassure what I said. I pulled my head back and looked at his shimmering blue eyes.

"I love you." I finish. Ollie smiles. He kisses my forehead and whispers it back.

"I love you too." I smile but Oliver can't see it.

We separate and leave the bowling alley. I feel like I am about to pass out.

"Lexi Lex!!! Babe wake up!" Oliver panics. He tries to wake me up. I open my eyes and everything is blurry. I have never seen Ollie scared.

"Say something." Ollie says in his serious voice.

"What happened?" i ask as i see oliver calm down.

"You fainted." Oliver said as he sat back down in his seat. I look and we have drove home apparently. I look at Oliver and back out the window.

"Ollie."

"Lex."

"Can we stay here for a couple of minutes?" I ask oliver.

"Yeah." Oliver says as he reaches his hand out for me to take. I look at his hand and then his face.

"Oliver I want to tell you more about Jared and things that happened. Jared and I were a couple for of years. We go together in high school. We went to college together. He had a family problem and I went on vacation. Well tried. The plane engine failed. I got home and found Jared sleeping with two girls. Then he said it was nothing. A week later I come home from work and more girls sleeping in my bed. I couldn't sleep for a week. I left him and moved on. Every once in awhile he would text me. I always said no. Then I moved here. He realized I left and he texted me nonstop. I tried to ignore him and then he started to email me, instagram me, facebook me, and snapchat me then I got overwhelmed. Then I went to the bar. I met you. That night when you left to go be the Green Arrow he called. I was drunk and I took him everything. He never cared about me or my family. When I called him after the plane went down he hung up on me. I didn't even finish explaining what happened." I say with tear down my face. And leaving Oliver speechless.

"I...I..." Oliver says. He has loss of words. He looks at me and I wipe my tears away. I don't know why I said all of that now.

"There could've been a better time. I'm sorry Ollie." I say grabbing my purse.

"Lexi you don't ever have to apologize. Never." Oliver says as he leans over to hug me. I lean in to.

"I love you Oliver Queen." I say making sure he can help me loud and clear.

"I love you Lexi Winters." Oliver says wiping away one of my tears.
