Mia's POV

I'd died and went to heaven. I wanna thank god for giving these eye balls to see this sex god of a man. I swear he was beautiful, like an angel. Oh he could take me to the clouds any day. He was six foot, strong build, has striking grey eyes. His mouth was moving but I couldn't hear anything. Was it me? I wasn't going deaf was I? I was stuck on his lips...

"Girl," Thank god she nudged me because I would've kept eye raping him. I think I did long enough for him to sue me. "Hmm,"

"He's talking to you." She whispered but she was the furthest thing from my mind. What did she say again? Oh right, well then..."What did he say?" I asked her, she smiled at him. "What's your name?"

"Mia Wilson,"

He smiles and seemed at peace to know my name. His features relaxed completely. "Would you Mia and Lydia care for some coffee?" Showing off his brilliant teeth, my mouth fell open. I looked back at Lydia and gave her a look asking was this man for real? "Sure." She said for me. He moved between us, leading us away from the entrance over to where it was slowly growing quiet. Walked behind him was a breeze, taking in the art, culture, and trying to stop Lydia from slapping his ass was the challenge. I mean she needed to control herself. But she couldn't stop laughing, I couldn't help giggling either.

But on the flip side. I was sweating bullets; I never loved Lydia more for dragging me along to see this man!

"Mia girl your nails are biting into my skin." She whispered and I released some but we were still arm in arm following this beautiful man, He looked early 30's. He was tan skin, clean shave, straight nose, face, and teeth. It was almost as if he was photo shopped.

"Sorry," I whisper, rubbing her arm and she smirked knowing all too well how nervous I was. Finally we walked into the kitchen, granite counters, and stainless steel appliances was what first got my attention. It was beautiful, like a baby. Thinking of the word baby brought me back to reality. I wasn't here on a date, nor was this a marriage I was getting myself into. But a baby, another life in this world. How twisted was this man? How was this supposed to work out? Was I being a surrogate now? He had some explaining to do, because Lydia's drunk behavior didn't help. I mean she wasn't-okay she was totally hammered.

Well of course, if I were to agree to have their baby. What's there deal anyway?

"Wow." I breathed, and I caught his smile. "All I have is Decaf is that alright?" We both nodded, even though I knew Lydia loved caffeine. "I'll just rack up on sugar," She commented.

"So are you like some male prostitute or something?" Lydia asked and I choked on my damn coffee. She had her arms crossed. Don't degrade the man! He chuckles smoothly, "No Ms. Brooks I'm clean of any record in the justice system. And I would never sell my body...ever." She takes the answer and leads us over to a kitchen booth.

I glance at Lydia who still has a playful smile on her lips. "Will you relax; you got this in the bag." She whispered and he comes back clearing his throat.

"So maybe I should introduce myself." He said ushering us to some booth at a window. I slide in after Lydia and he sits across from us. "Well my name is Marcus Waters, I like to be called Marc for short-" Lydia's phone rings out of the blue and kind of startles me. I was so engrossed within his story. Well okay I know the man just started to speak but his words were amazing.

I watched her take the phone and answer it, "Brooks here," Her face changed from cool and relaxed to very, very serious. Her jaw clenched, "Right now?" She said urgently. I was now concerned.

"I have to take this I'll be back." She said and I scoot out of the booth and wait for her to move aside before returning to the booth and scoot further in. "I'll only be a minute," She smiled, "Now y'all just chat it up," She said waving her hand. When she left I was alone with Marc Waters.

Wow it was amazing how quick she can pull an emotion, I cleared my throat. "You were saying?" He thanks me for remembering, "Ah yes I'm responsible for making clean energy, and being the only name out there makes easy money even easier."

I go through my purse to reveal my medical history, I hand him the envelope. "Ah great I'll have Lisa review them later. Thank you for that." He takes the time to go over the documents before looking impressed. "Wow you're very healthy." I wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not at the moment but I assumed it was a good thing. He seemed shocked I could be healthy,

"Oh that was the office I have to go." Lydia said walking in putting her phone away. "Well it was nice meeting you again Lydia." He said showing off a billion dollar smile, and I waved back at her. "Bye." She winks at me and leans all the way over to get her cup and hugs me. "If you leave not having this deal you are totally a repellent for the male species." She grits, and leaves with a goofy grin. I turn back to look at Marc. Frowning a bit, bitch just had to put the pressure on me!

"Can I be honest with you Mia Wilson?" I nod and hold my cup. "Sure."

"Why do you have a frown on your beautiful face? It's troubling to me." Even his concern was sexy. His chiseled jaw tightened, it was hard to swallow down the coffee. I gave up,

"Just thinking about all of this, and what all will happen to me. Like I'll be pregnant with a baby and it's just a lot to handle that's all." He holds his head still, zeroing in on me. I start to look around on massive kitchen. "I understand but Mia..." His hand slides against the table covering mine, squeezing slightly. Our eyes connecting again, and his eyes were unwavering in a sexy way. I glance at his hands, no ring. "You will be my top priority." Damn he said it with so much conviction it knocked some wind out of my lungs. I pull my hands away and start to bite my nails, just growing nervous. He chuckles,

"You are very entertaining Mia Wilson," I thank him.

I watch him take out his phone and call someone, he was looking directly at me when he says. "Austin close the polls, I'm done searching." He hangs up and my mouth drops, "Why did you do that?"

"Because I found the perfect woman to have my heir with."

Sure I was happy I had been selected but...

"Will I be covered in medical expenses, bills, umm if I need quick money-"

"Just come to me for all of your money issues," He winks and I smile. Nervously I pull out a bank statement with the remaining amount of my divorce payments, medical bills, and other debt I was in. Sitting back with the paper in my hands. He's eyes go huge, before his mouth drops.

Staring at me I feel uncomfortable, "Oh my goodness, I'll have Lisa on this right away." We talked for hours, about previous jobs, and general questions. Looking at my phone randomly I gasped at the time. "I should get going."

"Well this was fun talking to you." I said sliding out of the booth. "I'll give you a ride."

"No, I can get a cab." I reply getting my phone, when he takes my hands. "No mother of my child is going to ride in a cab." A small smile spread across my face. In a weird way I felt like I won a huge prize. This was the start of a new chapter in my life. "Okay." I whispered and he brings my knuckles to his lips and kisses them tenderly. I pull my hands out of his, but kindly smile. "We're going to make a beautiful heir together Mia."
