Mia's POV
"She threw up!" Austin yelled running away and down the hallway, I collapsed to the floor as I held my sides in pain. Someone gasped before holding back my hair, as she screamed for someone to help me. She rubs my back, "Relax Mia, that's it." Leading me away from the tanish color I rinse my mouth.
She waves at me from the seconds I had to look at her through the reflection, "Hello we haven't officially met I'm Lisa. Marc's assistant, old time friend, umm huge fan of Lydia Brooks. What is she like? Oh crap, this isn't a good time to ask."
Soon Marc comes in, with a grin. "You threw up."
"Melissa is out getting the pregnancy tests," Austin says after Marc enters the bathroom to hold my back, and I move away from all of them wiping my mouth. I sit on the toilet, hanging my head, utterly exhausted. "Let's give her some room Lisa," Austin says and Marc closes the door,
I don't know what I was feeling in this moment, never did I give a thought to being pregnant. Given that my Mom died, Kendra shot her, and I knew Lucy and Demetrius were evil. Oh and I found out that Marc is an angel. Everyone in this house is, and the only person I wanted to look at right now was Lydia. I haven't seen her since...I went freaking mass murder on Nolan's ass.
For Lydia's sake I don't ever want to return to that person, she was right. I'm the sweet one, she's the sour one...looking sweet. I take my phone off the counter and turn it on to see a new message from Lydia herself.
Mia I'm not one to send you long novelty texts but I'll be away busy with conferences at the hospital I own and I won't be home. I just wanted to let you know that if you come by I won't answer. Also when I'm done we're gonna talk because a lot of shit has happened and I really need to tell you...a lot. So I love you, and until we see each other again I love you some more.
Looking down at my phone with curiosity I wasn't sure why Lydia would send me such a text, especially if she's working long hours at her hospital. I mean, usually she would send me a "All Night" or "All Week" text and I'd know exactly what she mean.
No this had purpose, reason behind the words, and I was gonna figure it- "Mia? Are you okay?"
"It's been weeks since we had sex, and I didn't tell you but this isn't the first time I've thrown up. In fact, my boobs hurt, and well...I wasn't entirely ready to come to these baby terms. I wasn't ready...I'm not sure I'm entirely ready. And then there's Lydia, sending me this text...she must be very sad."
"Can I try something Mia?"
I nod, he comes forward on his knees he places one hand on top of my stomach and the other on the right side. He just stares at my stomach. I wasn't entirely sure what he was doing- there's a long pause. "Marc?" He shakes his head eyes were wide.
"By how the baby's heartbeat, the support the baby has, it looks 4 months." He peeks up at me with concerned eyes. "What are you saying right now Marc? Did you see our baby?" He nods before frowning, "4 months didn't just fly by? At least a month, not 4. I think...I'm not sure what this means."
Holding my stomach I'm scared, "Well is our baby alright? Will it be okay?"
There's a knock at the door, "Who is it?" Marc asks,
"Melissa, I have the pregnancy tests." She comes in soon after and just places the stuffed bag on the counter and gives me a soft smile before leaving us alone. "Good thing I really have to pee." I say looking at the bag. Marc gives me an encouraging smile before kissing my forehead. "I'll figure this out Mia. Just take your test, I'll be back with answers. And I'll check up on Lydia for you."
