Mia's POV

Lydia's hair flipped when she snapped her head at Marc. "Marc do you have anything to say?" Lydia asked and Marc cleared his throat but was cut off by Lucy, "I'm going to get some tea, Lydia you should join me," Oh shit, don't you know what Lydia would do if there's no witnesses-No what she would do in front of witnesses because she loves a crowd?!

"I would rather drink bleach," Lydia said getting up, Lucy rose from her seat and walked in front of Lydia who also stood up. I reached for her arm, turning around she winks at me. "That can be arranged," Again Lydia laughed so hard she slapped her knee. "Unless I make you drink it first,"

The room was quiet now, I didn't want to ask what the hell happened. But if I was going to deliver a child in these conditions it would have to be all sorted out now. But where do I even start?

"Now let's talk rules," We were interrupted by Lydia who had a perkier look on her face. "I'll be outside talking to the sexy bellhop." She left she left like she was on a mission and couldn't wait to get out of there. A small laugh left my mouth and he smiles. "She's charming."

"And nosy, doesn't know boundaries, but loveable." I giggled. Marc cleared his throat and I paid more attention. "Okay Mia from here on out you are my number one priority.-Is there a problem?" He asked when I raised my hand a little. "Well you said I'll be your number one priority. You meant to say you and your wife right?"

His face goes cold, "She's not my wife. She's no longer a factor in this deal. We are no longer married, I stopped wearing her ring. This deal, this plan, this relationship we built is between us. You and I, me and you. Do I make myself clear?" I nod, his bossy tone was kind of sexy.

"I will be there at the click of a button. If you are feeling lonely, you need someone to cry on I got you. Come over any time, if I'm not around I promise you will see my face weather it's through Skype or Imessage-anything I will be there. My house is yours. I will be your wing man for everything to make this pregnancy bearable for you. I mean I am helping you create this baby."

I begin to laugh, "Thank you." His charming way were affecting me way more than I liked to admit right now, and grew anxious under his stare. "I just don't want anything to happen to you or this child." Natural concern, I totally understood.

"So I have a question. What happens after the baby is born."

"You can still come over; if you want. You're entitled to because you're the mother. I will invite you over and we can get there when we get there as well."

"So we can have trust in this relationship."

He nods, "I need to ask you some questions?" I said taking out a little piece of paper. He leans back and crosses his arms. "Let's just be real here? Does Lucy really like me? Because I don't want to be pregnant with this tension between her and Lydia and then me. I just don't like it."

"Lucy won't be a problem, she's in the process of getting her own apartment. When she sees the documents, gains the rest of her memories it'll just be us again. I promise."

Pulling out a piece of paper he freaks out, "Is that another bank statement with a collection of debt you owe?"

"Aren't you a billionaire?" I ask turning a bit defensive. His soft grey eyes, his strong jaw line showing off his facial hair that did him wonders. "Yea and I was scared,"

"No these are a list of questions I thought to ask you." He sighs relieved before leaning back into the leather seat, "Go head."

"Have you ever been in jail?"

"No, I have a clean record. If you count lying about taking cookies from the cookie jar when I was five. Then I'm guilty," I found myself laughing at that answer, oh he was so cute with that one.

"Were you always rich?" I had to ask this one, to make sure if this rich thing was a long term or short term type thing.

"Yes." Oh that's relief to me, I check that one off my list.

"Are your mom and dad still alive?"

"No." I frowned a little to that question, he didn't have to get in that. Already there's been enough stress with the showdown between Lucy and Lydia. "I'm sorry for your loss," He shows off a small smile, "Thank you."

"Have you ever done drugs, do you continue to do drugs if you have, and what types?"

"No I never done drugs, I don't plan on starting anytime soon, and no types at all."

I leaned closer towards Marc and pointed for a serious answer, "You aren't some sick twisted man who lures women in and-"

"No, I was raised in the city, a mansion to be more exact. My father was a lawyer who started a business fixing people's lives, my mother was a surgeon and had her own business. When Dad's business failed, I went to school for business, and ran my mom's business to what it is to this day."

"She would be proud."

Well isn't he just a prince in a fairy tale, well with his parents and already having his princess. Then what the hell am I? Oh this fairy tale was twisted! "Oh so you're the huge boss behind everything?"

He nods. "Yes."

"This is more of a reassurance but I will be covered in medical expenses right? Any bills, anything that involves money right?"

"Right, just come to me for all of your money issues," He winks and I smile relieved.

"Well that's all the questions I have." I said sitting back with the paper in my hands.

He leans over and pours himself another glass of red wine and takes a sip. I take a sample of cheese and savor the rich taste on my tongue. It was amazing, I wish Lydia was here to taste it with me. She's been with Lucy for a long time now,

"I have a question for you."

"I have an answer." I said adjusting myself in my seat. "Were you married?" I nearly choked on the cheese. Wow, I didn't see that coming but yet again we never did bring that to the table.

"I'm divorced," Marc looked concerned, "Really a gem like you? Never," He said appalled and I giggle.
"Yea he cheated, took the house, dog, and pool. Left me with nothing and that's why-well you know the rest now." I said ending the story short.

He raises his hands in surrender. "Fair enough, do you have any other questions?"

I shake my head. "Neither do I-well could you pay off my debt...to the house...I lost in the divorce. I'm still in debt for the two mortgages." I suggested and he stares at me, thinking it over. "Sure how much?"

"I wrote down the price..." I said fishing it out of my purse and handing it to him. "Sure-wow let me go to the back and...Wow this much." He said looking pained and this would the 3rd time we been through this. You would think he would get that I got a lot of debt. "Your friend is a rich doctor. Why not ask her for money?"

"Because she's a friend, I'm too prideful for that. Besides we've been through this already, and you just said that all my money issues are your concern." I shot back,

He runs a hand through his brown styled hair, "This is true but what were you doing?"

"It's complicated now could you please pay it?" I asked, he gives me an understanding look but looks at me confused. "Do you have a gambling issue? Drug issue? Is it the liquor?" Marc frowns and I bust out laughing, "I'll see you tomorrow." He said helping me up laughing some, "I'll take care of it."

We get up and shake hands, we left the room to see Lydia with her hair in a mess and white stuff on her shirt and pants. "Hey girl let's get the mighty hell out of here, Marc tell that pointless piece of shit- EX-WIFE that I'm owning her ass at 3!" She screams walking off. I mutter a few words before pushing her out the door.
