I SHOULD START TO SAY THAT YOU WILL NEED TWO PNGS. TWO OF THE SAME FACECLAIM THAT OOOK ALMOST ALIKE, IF YOU CANT FIND ANY PICTURES LIKE THAT THEN YOU CAN JUST FLIP THE PNG THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION.
ONE) open up Superimpose and place your background and the png you will be working with.

TWO) Go to the filters tab and turn your png into the shadow. The color of the shadow is really up to you. If you want it white then turn up the exposure, brightness, and contrast. If you want black then turn down only the exposure and brightness.

THREE) Go to the mask tab and press on the Bi-Linear Gradient to make the shadow more blended in. Merge afterwards.
