IF YOU USE THE
FOLLOWING TUTORIAL
PLEASE GIVE CREDIT
TO WHERE THE CREDIT IS DUE.Today I'm going to show you how I make my own backgrounds. It isn't really a technique to use, just make sure to not give up. I have done backgrounds thinking about how it should turn out but it ends up looking like something else. Don't get mad or frustrated, use the background and just mess with it. You can do backgrounds on PicsArt or Superimpose their that easy to do.
STEP ONE) go to either google or tumblr. Search up the color scheme you are thinking. For example I was thinking something light blue so I searched up blue themes.
STEP TWO) keep thinking outside of the boxes. Really look at the picture. Let's say it has a person in it but the dress they are wearing would be a good texture. Save it. You can always just crop that little piece to use.
STEP THREE) once you got all your pictures you want, go to whatever you are using and get a blank background. The color of your background depends on your color scheme. For example, when I was going for a dark red background, I would pick a black background. For the background I was doing, I picked a white background. From there add your starting image. Don't forget to zoom into the areas you like. For each picture I used I would either use screen, overlay, and multiply. I would lower or higher each settings. Blend in images. Crop whatever you want. Just really get things to where you like them.
STEP FOUR) when your done adding your images, you can add textures or add one. I added a mirror and some butterflies. When your done adding, save and you can add a filter if you want.
(I hope this was somewhat helpful. I was going to jump into a tutorial but I thought I would do this first since a cool background would look cool with it. If your having trouble with your background, don't give up. I promise it will turn out okay.)
