Cutie ^STEP ONE) open up a plain color as your background. Make sure the color goes good with what your faceclaim is wearing. I can't express how odd it looks when everything doesn't really match. Neon purple does not go with a wash out orange. Add this texture and place it on multiply. Add this box and stretch it like I did. Depending on what you're feeling, black or white box would work. I was feeling kinda emo when doing this so I meannnnnnnn
STEP TWO) wait nvm about that last part, I guess I decided to turn it white. Anyways add your face claim. Use the bi-liner to blend out the bottom part.
STEP THREE) add some line art. you'll find a lot, just get creative where to put them in the box. Here's some if you want to use any that I have. Credit the the artist who did these. I also added some textures, the ones I used are in some tutorials somewhere in this book. Save when done.STEP FOUR) add any filter you think would look good. Try to stay true to the sorta of color scheme you have going on.
STEP FIVE) the fonts I used were Declara and Baskerville. You have two ways to place your title. I personally like both of them, so really whatever you like is fine. Then your done !
( first tutorial of 2018 ! I hope you all had a wonderful New Years. Definitely tell me your thoughts on this cover. I like how simple it looks. I'm sort of loving the simple looks of covers. They look so crispy and nice. Nut. )-Sam
