(Ellie's pov)

"Understandable" Liam said walking out into the kitchen

"If you guys know, did he tell Harry?" I said, a glimmer of hope running through me. I hope he told him but I think I already know the answer.

"No" Zayn said softly.

"It doesn't matter anyway" I say trying to push it to the side. But they could tell I was lying : it did matter because I missed him, it's only been a few hours but it feels like years.

"So how have you all been? I've not really had a chance to catch up with you all" I did have a chance, it's just that I never thought of it

"I've been good" Niall said looking at the other two

"Yeah we all have really" Liam said walking back in with a sandwich. I'm guessing he went into the kitchen then.

"Hey so how come your back anyway? I thought you lived somewhere else now?" Louis asked.

"Well my mum split from my dad because we wanted to move back and she wasn't happy with him. Simple stuff really" I didn't even realise it would be that easy to explain but I guess that's why they did split.

"I'm sorry to hear that" Louis said

"It's fine, Im sort of glad really that they have. I know that sounds stupid but it was like I was living in hell."

"So you have never looked into the portal we went in then?" Liam said. He was right in the end, they did go to hell for vampires. I went silent, not knowing what to say. Niall stood up and broke the awkward tension in the room

"Anyone want some food?" he said looking around at everyone

"I should be getting back actually" i said looking at my watch. The time really flew by : 6:53

"Ok, well I guess we will see you around" Zayn said

"I'll make sure of it" I said before walking out of the door. Sometimes I wish that Zayn teleported me everywhere just so I didn't have to walk, my life would be so much more easier if I had that kind of power. I'm going to miss catching up with the boys ; they're a really good laugh. I started walking back home. I'm so glad it's still summer, it makes it safer to walk back. Eventually, I had approached the front door of my house. I opened the door and I saw my mum and talk standing infringing of each other. They looked as if they had just been arguing about something and stopped as I walked in.

"Can we talk about this another time now?" my mum said looking down to the ground

"I'm finished anyway : it's not happening Helen" he said before walking past me

"Bye ellie" he said as he walked out the house. I walked towards the sofa near mum and sat down.

"What was that about?" I asked, the curiosity getting the better of me

"Nothing for you to worry about " she said. I looked into her welled up eyes, obviously something major had happened and I missed out.
