Chapter 9- Sophie's Initiation (2 POV's)

~Midnight~

WARNING: LONG CHAPTER!

(After school, Karah's House)

Angel, Stiles, Sophie, William and I all sat on Angel's carpeted floor, and did our homework together. Sophie sighed and set down her algebra book.

'I'm hungry." she whined, and Will (that's what he insisted we called him) kissed her cheek. 

"Don't worry, I'll get you somethin'." he said, and stood, stretching.

"Kitchen is down the hallway, to your left." Angel said, Then she looked at me, mind linking me.

DId you figure out what to do for Sophie's Initiantion Ceremony?

I smiled.

Yes, I did. We need lots of roses, and other flowers and candles. I want to make it pretty for her. 

Karah chuckled.

"What's so funny?" Stiles asked, and winked.

"Oh, nothing." She replied, and sat in between his stradled legs. She leaned back into his arms, and he laid them against her stomach.

"So, Sophie... We have to have an Initiation Ceremony, I bet you already knew that." I said, and she nodded.

"We have something special planned." Karah said, and her eyes lit up with happiness.

"Really? You really didn't have to do that."

"A special day for a special wolf." Karah added, and Sophie smiled.

We took the next couple hours to get ready for the Ceremony. I went out to get the flowers, and Karah went out for a run with Stiles. Sophie and Will stayed back at the house and cuddled in front of the TV, with "Endless Love" playing on the sixty inch screen.

When I returned, the sun was on the brink of setting, and my mini van smelled like lily of the valley's and roses. I decided that those were the best flowers for her. Karah and Stiles were dressed in white tops and black pants, so I went to the bathroom to get changed. 

I pulled a white button up shirt from my backpack, and pulle dit on. Then i slid on some black sweats and opened the door.

Karah and Stiles lead Sophie and Will out to the woods behind her house, and I tagged along a little ways behind.

~Angel~

The clearing was lit with small blue candles, and the Lily of the Valley's were spread around  the clearing we now stood in, mixed with the roses.

I took Sophie's hand, and lead her to a small oval of candles and flowers. 

"Ready?" I ask, and she smiles shakily.

I take her hand and lead her her to a small oval of flowers and candles. She lays down, and takes a deep breath.

She rolls over in her stomach, showing her backside.

I take my claws and scratch down the middle of her back diagonally, and she howls in pain. I scratch my hand and run it down the scrath on her back, mixing our blood.

My hand stung, and I could tell it was even worse for Sophie. 

After the blood mixed, I wiped my paw onto the grass and sealed the wounds. I did this for Sophie as well, leaving her black bloody. Now the first stage is complete, I can transfer the energy. 

The lines on her back fade away leaving nothing but a faint scar where I had scratched her. Her breathing quickened, and I could see that she was holding back trying not to give in.

I massaged her shoulders letting my energy pour into her. Then I countinue.

I take her shivering hand in mine and turn it so her palm is facing the stars. Since she has never been in a pack, their's no pack mark.

My canine teeth grow, and I quickly sink my teeth into her wrist. She screams so loud I think my eardrums are going to burst. 

I take her hands in mine and split the pain. 

The process is nearly complete.

I sit and take soothing breaths as the bond forms between us. I smiled as she fell limp in my arms.

"Shift!" I commanded, and seeing as this was her first command from and Alpha, she did as she was told.

Sure enough, their lying before me, was a beautiful red wolf. A pine tree had formed on her wrist, and she was breathing heavily.

"Rest." I commanded, and her eyes closed as she fell into a nice and relaxing sleep.

Will shifted into his wolf, a lighter grey one, and lay beside his sleeping mate.

"Watch over her, make sure she is not harmed."

And with that, the rest of the group followed me back to my house.

What a way to end my Friday night.

HELLO ERRYBODEH! So I didn't actually get this from research, I actually think that you have to have a ceremony for every new wolf that joins your pack. Why you ask? I recently read the book 'She's Back" ( awesome book, you should totally check it out! ) and I used the process of the ceremony from their. I dont own any of the steps, all right go to the rightful owner. :D Yey! Also sorry for the really super long chapter, but whwat do you think of the mutliple POV thing? Do you like it, or hate it?
