~Angel~

That morning, I awoke earlier than I usually do.

I decided to make waffles, for whatever reason.

Only moments after the waffles had cooled that I heard the sound of scrambling feet down the hallway.

"WAFFLES!" I yelled, and within mear seconds, the rest of the pack appeared before my eyes.

I sat in between Stiles and Red, and we all dug in.

Later that day, I watched as an old red SUV pulled into the driveway, and a face I haven't seen in forever emerged.

Anger bubbled up inside me as I stormed outside.

Kevin glared at me as he leaned back against the hood of the car, arms crossed.

"What'd I tell you Angel. You're extremely lucky that your slut of an omega is still alive." Kevin said, and I balled my fists.

"No one, I repeat, NO ONE, calls Red a slut. EVER." I said, and gave him a good smack across the face.

"There we are, the true angel inside is working it's way out. How's about a look see, huh?" Kevin sneered, and pinned me against the side of the car.

"Kevin, we both know damn well that I have the upper hand here. There's no way you can get away." I said, and yanked his head back with my free hand.

He yelped, and struggled as I put him in a headlock.

"Now what are you gonna do? Call Sabrina for help? Or did she dump your sorry ass before you knocked her up?!" I spat in his face, but his expression didn't change.

"She did, but only after I allowed her to. You'll end up the same if I don't beat you." he said, and my grip loosened a little bit.

Kevin spun around, and somehow managed a pocket knife to my throat.

"So what's it going to be? Fight me, or the slut dies." he asked, and I growled.

"What did I say..." I began as I felt myself beginning to shift, "about that word?!" I screamed, and shifted into my snowy white Alpha wolf.

Kevin laughed evilly before dropping the knife, and shifting into his dirty grey wolf.

He growled, and I took off running into the woods.

Kevin followed, and despite my Alpha running speed, he reached the edge of the woods before I did.

I lunged at him, but he dodged just as Stiles came running out the back door.

"Angel!" he cried as Kevin pounced, and left a blood gushing gash on my front left arm.

Stiles shifted, and bit into Kevin's back leg. He howled, but Stiles didn't let go.

I shifted out of my wolf, and clutched my arm.

"Stiles!" I croaked, as I watched the love of my life fight my worst enemy, powerless.

Kevin shook off Stiles, limping in the process. Stiles swiped his paw across Kevin's back, creating a deep gash.

Kevin's eyes filled with something's I thought I'd never see.

Sadness.

Worry.

Hope.

"Stiles!" I called, but he couldn't hear me.

"Stiles!!" I tried again.

He just kept biting and swiping.

"STILES!!!" I yelled/commanded in my Alpha voice, something I rarely use.

Stiles stopped dead in his tracks, and Kevin fell limp to the ground.

He ran over to me, and shiftes out of his wolf.

"Angel?! Did that son of a bitch hurt you?" he exclaimed.

I shook my head as my eye's filled with tears.

"Stiles... you could've killed him. I don't care how big of an asshole he is, he's still my brother, and really the only family I have left. Thank you though, for helping me." I said, and Stiles hugged me.

A bright blush spread across my face as I suddenly realized werl were both naked.

"Maybe we should go inside now?" I asked, and Stiles chuckled.

"Sure Angel. Sure."
