~Midnight~

Stiles, who was now standing by Angel, quickly shut the curtains and tried to contain his wolf.

Angel went and locked the door, then mind linked me what to do with Red and Steam. Since Red was still in the after shocks of the Initiation, she would need to rest to gather her strength.

That's one of the wonders of being a traveling pack: you can mind link your pack mates.

I took Red's hand and Steam followed shortly behind.

I opened a trap door, that lead to a flight of stairs going down into our basement. It held our gym and meeting room, along with a small kitchen incase we got stuck down there for a few days.

I quickly shut the door after the 2 were safely inside, and covered it back up. It was in our broom closet, next to the bathroom.

I snuck out the back door, where a brown wolf was waiting for me. I quickly shifted, and before he could do anything, I slashed my paw down his throat, causing him to crumple were a pool of blood now lay.

I ran to catch up with Angel.

I growled as a light grey wolf came up behind Angel, so I dove in front of her and dug my claws into its neck. It howled, and backed off. The darkest of the wolves, who was a deep brown, was fighting Stiles.

Angel and I ran over to help, while more grey and brown wolves came over to fight back. We fought them off one by one until the same dark brown one was still trying to fight.

Stiles finally scratched his left eye, and it started to gush blood. The wolf yelped in pain, and shifted out.

"You'll pay for this! You will never forget the day you made your worst enemy!" he yelled in a deep voice, also while holding hi left eye and butt naked, and running off to be with the rest of his pack who was waiting in the nearby woods.

"You'll remember us; The Artic Blast pack!" he hollered, then was gone.

We all shifted back to human, and ran back inside. Angel had a scratch over her forehead, and Stiles had a few bruises around his arms and lower legs. I had a couple cuts around my wrists.

I went and dug around in my backpack, and pulled out some extra clothes. I threw a tee shirt and jeans at Angel, and a button up shirt and jeans at Stiles. I threw on a pair of sweat pants and a tank top.

Angel put on her clothes, then walked over to the broom closet and let Steam and Red out.

"Oh my god, are you guys ok?" Red rushed out, and went to help Angel clean her forehead.

"Fine Red, your safe, and that's all that matters." She replied, and gave her a small hug.

"Who was that anyway?" Steam asked, and Stiles shook his head.

"The Artic Blast pack. They have a reputation around here." he stated, and began washing his hands in the kitchen sink.

Red went over and sat on the couch, Steam not to far behind.

A match made in heaven.

"Who's the Alpha?" Red asked, and I sat down on the couch next to her.

"Tundra, he's pretty badass, but he's a total dick once you've hung around him." Angel said, coming out of the kitchen with an ice pack on her forehead.

Red and I giggled, but we knew she was being serious. The only time I'd ever encountered Tundra was back in the 6th grade.

He stole my lunch money and bought his pack cookies. I knew from that day on that I would hate him forever. (A/N: Lol a big rivalry over cookies. Right up my ally!)

I chuckled at the memory, and Red looked at me funny.

"Nothing, nothing. Continue." I said, and looked at Angel expectantly.

"Anyway, he has a reputation because he runs around killing every pack he can because he thinks it makes him more powerful." she finished, and Steam held Red's hand.

She looked scared, and I could tell she was because she was breathing really fast and had a look of terror on her face.

"He won't get you baby, I'll protect you." Steam whispered, and she nodded, still looking scared.

"I think we should get to bed..." Stiles spoke up, and we all agreed.

Angel and Stiles got Angel's room, I got the couch, and Red and Steam pushed the two loveseats together to form a small bed.

"Goodnight Midnight. You were really brave to go and help them when I was so weak." Red said, and I smiled.

"No problem Red. You were really brave to listen to it happening." I replied, and closed my eyes.

I had a feeling that tomorrow was going to be a good day, but then a bad feeling rumbled in my stomach. What if Tundra came back? What if he snuck into our house?

I got up quietly as not to wake Red or Steam, who were sound asleep already.

Jeez, you've been asleep for like 3 days! How can you still sleep?!

I went and made sure the front and back doors were locked, then locked all the windows, just in case.

Then I lay back down, and pulled the blanket up to my shoulders.

"Goodnight mate, whoever you are." I said softly, then drifted into a deep and dreamless sleep.
