~Red~
I swear to god I couldn't sleep at all that night. Between Steam's snoring and Kyle and Mandi's cries, I did not sleep a wink.
When morning finally rolled around, I was exausted.
I sat up in bed and looked at the clock. It said 6:30 am. I flopped back down, and shoved my head under my pillow.
An hour later, Steam was awake and wrapping his arms around me.
"Good morning baby. How'd you sleep?" he asked, and I frowned.
"Like a teenager who has 2 kids." I replied, and Steam chuckled.
"You look tired, how about you take the day off today, eh? Just a day to yourself." he said, and I smiled.
"Thank The Lord!" I exclaimed, and snuggled under the covers.
Steam got up and kissed my forehead.
"Sweet dreams Red." he whispered, the left the room, shutting the door quietly behind him.
Boy did I need that 10 hour sleep. I was so exhausted I fell asleep instantly.
When I woke up, I rubbed my eyes and shuffled into the living room.
"Mornin' sleeping beauty!" Angel exclaimed, and hugged me.
"Um, hi." I said, and she led me to the couch. She snuggled into me, and I smirked, putting my arm around her.
Stiles, who was sitting across from us, rolled his eyes.
"Hey! I got an idea. We can have a cuddle contest." Angel whispered to me, and I giggled.
I nodded, and she smiled.
"STEAMMMMMMM! GET YOUR BUTT IN HERE!" I yelled, and Steam came walking down the hallway, holding Kyle in one hand, Mandi in the other.
"Whaaaaaaaaat?" he whined, and I got up and told him about the contest.
"Ohhhh, so you're looking for a challenge, huh?" he said, and smiled slyly.
He shuffled back down the hallway into Kyle and Mandi's room, then came back out, closing the door quietly behind him.
"Sup Stiles." he said, and plopped down next to him on the couch.
"CUDDLE CONTEST!" Angel yelled, and wrapped her arms around me.
"Hey, no fair!" Stiles whined, and awkwardly put his arm around Steam's shoulder. Steam on the other hand, put his arm on Stiles' shoulder, and put his arm around his waist.
Then Midnight groggily walked into the room, yawning.
"Morning guys... I'm gonna um, go get some coffee." she said, and shuffled into the kitchen.
Around 3ish hours later, Angel and I won the cuddle contest, and it was close to 5 o'clock.
I helped Midnight and Angel prepare a special dinner of homemade pizza, and we all ate it like a pack of hungry wolves. (He he he.... See what I did there ;3)
Then after we all settled in the living room and watched a movie, Angel, Stiles, Midnight and Hunter were all ready for bed.
They walked, hand in hand, to their bedrooms, and probably fell asleep.
That left Steam and I alone. Together.
I sat on his lap while soft music played and we cuddled.
"Hey, it's a full moon tonight." Steam whispered in my ear, and I laughed.
"Mhmm, sure is." I replied, and stood up.
"Wanna go watch the stars?" I asked, and he nodded. I grabbed his hand and led him out to his car, where we lay on the hood watching the stars.
"They're beautiful." I said in awe, there were so many stars out tonight.
"Not as beautiful as you, my little Red." Steam replied, and I giggled. Our fingers intertwined, and I suddenly realized, we hadn't set a date for our wedding yet.
Stiles and Angel said theirs was going to be in the summer time, after the seniors graduate. And after the talent show I might add.
"Hey babe, when is our wedding going to be?" I asked, and Steam shrugged.
"Honestly, I have no freaking idea. But we can decide together." he said, and I leaned on his shoulder.
I must have fallen asleep, because the last thing I remember was the soft chirping of the crickets and the breathing of my fiancé.
