I leaned up against the wall, crossing my arms. The 5 of us could hear Red's screams even with the door closed.
A couple times I saw a nurse come out with a little bundle, the kids in guessing.
When the screaming stopped, I was hesitant to enter the room.
Midnight was brave though, and held Hunter and Kylie's hands as she cautiously entered the room.
I took a deep breath and followed.
Red was fast asleep with the blue bundle in her arms (Kyle) and Steam was asleep with the pink one (Amanda).
I smiled at the couple, both exhausted from this turn of events. I held Stiles' hand tightly, and we all sat down.
Kylie sat on the bed, stroking Red's hair as she slept.
"You're a good big sister, you know that?" Hunter whispered to her, and she smiled.
"You're a good big brother." she whispered back, and they held hands. For brother and sister, they didn't have anything in common except for their eyes.
Red stirred, and opened her eyes.
"Hey guys, how ya doin?" she said, and I laughed.
"Your the one who just have birth, and your asking us how we're doing?" I said, and she laughed softly.
"I guess so, but I feel like shit." she said, and Steam woke up.
"Hey baby, hi guys." he said and waved.
"You wanna hold them?" Red asked me, and I smiled.
"Sure, only if it's ok with you though." she chuckled, and motioned for me to sit on the bed with her.
She carefully put the small child into my arms, and I felt tears start to form.
"You're gonna be a great mom Red, I can feel it." I said, and sniffled.
"Oh come here you!" she says, and hugs me.
"I'm sorry, I'm just so happy for you!" I cried, and Red smiled.
"Some day, you'll have one of your own." she said, and I smiled back at her. Stiles looked at me, and smiled. My heart felt warm after that, with the promise of little pups of my own.
My pack is my pack, and I love them to death. No matter what happens.
