Kane's pov

I wondered what I did why would she just leave like that?

Josie kept trying to call her, but she got no answer.

I felt bad yet I knew that I did nothing wrong.

I thought Rayne liked me, but maybe I was way off.

She didn't seem to have a problem with me earlier.

Josie told me to wait here that she was going to Rayne's house to see what was going on.

I heard that Rayne's been through a lot, and has been hurt a lot.

I just wanted to spend some time getting to know her.

Josie said she seemed excited for the blind date so I'm confused.

I felt like I should just go home it's obvious that Rayne isn't interested, and I'm only making a fool of myself.

Josie pulled in and seemed very upset.

I walked over to her car to see what was going on.

"Josie is everything ok?"

I went by her place and she's not there. I let myself in and some of her clothes and other things are gone plus her car. I called her boss and he said she took some sick leave. She never calls in. She just vanished. Where would she have gone? This didn't make any sense."

Josie was really upset.

"I don't even know what to say."

"Kane I'm so sorry." Josie said.

"Hey, it's not your fault I just hope she's okay. I think I'm going to head home this has been kind of a crazy night."

"I'll let you know if I hear anything."

I said my goodbyes then got in my car and left.

This was not how I seen my night going.

It was a very crazy day.

She disliked me so much that she just took off?

What was wrong with this woman?

Maybe this was all for the best.

I didn't need some crazy woman in my life.

She seemed so sweet at the vet clinic, but I guess that was all an act.

I think I am better off just staying away from her, and leaving women alone for a bit.

I mean if this is how dating is then count me out.

I rather be alone then deal with drama.

I got home fixed me a drink, and decided to watch a movie this was a better ending to one hell of a night.
