Kane's pov

I already had a ring for Rayne.

I had asked for my grandmother's ring I asked Josie what size Rayne was and had it resized to fit.

I knew she was the one for me and knew someday I would ask her to marry me.

I just hadn't planned on it being this soon, but I knew this was right.

I walked back out with the ring in my pocket.

I was going to take her somewhere romantic and give it to her.

Then my phone went off.

It was the call I had been waiting for.

They had a heart for Lily.

Once I hung up I couldn't help but kiss Rayne.

"Is everything ok?"

"We need to get to the hospital."

She looked concerned.

"Is everything ok with Lily?"

"Oh, yes everything is perfect. They found a heart for her and we need to go so you can see her before we take her into surgery."

Rayne started to cry, and I knew they were happy tears.

I knew this wasn't exactly romantic, but I wanted her wearing my ring on her finger when we walked into the hospital.

"I am so nervous." She said.

"Don't be nervous she is going to love you. I have something for you."

I handed her the box and pulled out of my driveway heading towards the hospital.

I was scared she wouldn't like it.

I took a quick peek at her and smiled as she put the ring on her finger.

"Oh, Kane I love it. It's so beautiful."

"It used to be my grandma's."

"When did you do this? How did you know my size?"

"I had a little help from Josie, and I have had this ring for about a week now. Like I said I knew you were it for me."

She smiled and patted my leg.

I could tell she was just as happy as I was.
