Rayne's pov

I can't believe Kane asked me to marry him.

I would be crazy to say no.

I felt like my life had finally fallen into place.

I was on the path I needed to be.

I was going to spend every day cherished and loved.

I wanted to call Josie and tell her right away.

She was due to have her baby boy any day now.

Would she be happy or tell me we were moving too fast?

Oh, who am I kidding she's going to be over the moon for us.

"I want to go get you a ring before we go see Lily if that's ok."

He was my dream come true.

"We don't have to go and get a ring right now. It's not about the ring it's about the love we both have for one another."

He just looked at me and smiled.

"I know I don't have to get the ring, but I want to show everyone your mine."

I loved how he said I was his.

I grabbed my jacket and walked out to his car.

I was excited to go and meet Lily.

I just hoped that she liked me, and would want to be a part of my home.

Would Kane move in with me or would he want me to leave me home and live with him?

I guess we still had a lot to talk about.

How soon would he want to get married?

Was this going to change everything?

I was starting to question everything, but I still had no doubts.

This was exactly what I wanted.

We pulled up outside of Kane's place.

"What are we doing here?"

"I just need to run in and grab something really quick then we can go."

He was acting a little weird.

Was he having second thoughts?
