Once we had gotten to the building we were "paneling" at (a mall), I almost kissed the ground.

"You are NEVER driving anywhere ever again." I gave Harry a look.

"I second that." Liam said, a little shooken up.

"It's decided then, Liam's driving home." I said in my stupid voice.

It was right about then that a girl screamed "THEY'RE HERE!" She pointed in our direction, and started sprinting. I took a deep breath, and braced myself, grabbing Harry's hand. And within seconds, the crowd surrounded us, and the van.

"I LOVE YOU HARRY!" Several people screamed at the top of their lungs, and shooting me glances that were not pleasurable. I ducked my head, and starting walking with Harry on my left and Louis on my right. They knew that all the hate could get to my head sometimes. Harry soon released my hand to sign several pictures, shirts, arms, and other things like that. Louis did the same.

"LILY! LILY!" Someone yelled, and my head whipped up, was someone actually happy to see me? ...No, of course not. She gave me the finger. Charmers, these girls.

After what seemed like ages, we made it to the entrance, where security held people back, thank goodness.

"You owe me." I whispered in Harry's ear.

"Owe you what?" he smirked.

"A date. And we're at the perfect place! The guys' wigs are all in the car, borrow... Niall's! And I'll take mine off. We can have dinner, shop, you know, the works."

"Sounds fun. Until then, remember that the girls are just jealous." He kissed my forehead, after practically reading my mind.

"I'll try." I put on a smile, a forced one, but enough. And with that, we walked in.

------------------

"So what is it like being Harry's girlfriend?" A girl asked, giving me a glare.

"Well it's kind of like being anyone's girlfriend... Except for the fact that crowds follow us practically everywhere. I admit that I would like to have a little more time alone with the boys." Louis cleared his throat. "And Louis, my man." I rolled my eyes. "But I guess it's just something that I can deal with for Harry..." I shot him a smile, and leaned back. There wouldn't be any more things about me... Well that's what I thought.

"Wow... You have such a hard life." she said, with strong sarcasm, and sat down.

A girl grabbed the microphone from her. "You know Harry, with a voice as angelic as yours, I don't know how you live with a girl's voice as annoying as hers! Seems like you could get someone who siiings!" she sang the last word. I held back from saying anything. I didn't want this... Just let it go.

"Actually, Lils CAN sing." Louis cut her off as she opened her mouth to say what I'm almost positive was an insult. "I think that her and Harry were working on something the other day." he turned to us expectantly.

"Does anyone have a guitar?" Niall asked. A fan walked up with one that the boys had signed earlier. "Thanks Love." he grinned. I swear, she melted.

He began to play. And we began to sing.

On skype one night, I was talking to everyone and we decided it would be cool to make "What Makes You Beautiful", a duet, changing a couple of words and such. We made the whole thing, but had never really practiced. Apparently that's what Niall and Louis had been thinking of, because I heard the recognizable chords that reminded me of Grease. Yet, even my favourite film couldn't help me. I was nervous.

"That's what makes you beautiful." Harry and I finally finished, both of us grinning.

It was silent. And finally, there were claps. It started to get crazy, and I was super happy. Until they started chanting "HARRY! HARRY! HARRY!" He shot me an apologetic glance, I shrugged.

The girl from before stood up again, laughing, and pointed to me. "You call that singing?! Well let me tell you, save everyone's ears and sanity, and never open your mouth again!"

Another stood up. "She's right! You stink!" She yelled.

"Hope you didn't think you were any good." One snickered.

Finally people started to boo. It wasn't just a couple. It was most of them. The boys tried to calm them down, but it didn't do much good.

I couldn't help it, a tear slid down my face. I didn't say a word, just sat, and took it in. I was studying to be a singer... It was all I ever wanted to be. The boys were going to help me get my first record out, and I was going to open for them on tour. Were they just saying that? Just trying to make me feel good? Was it not going to happen? What else could I do? That's when the real waterworks started. I didn't want to make a scene.

"I... Have to use the loo." I finally said quietly, then walked as fast as I could out the door. I sank outside the door, burying my head in my hands. Then, after making sure no one was watching, I ripped the wig off, and put it in my bag.

Soon, I heard footsteps, and saw a figure sit next to me.

"Come here Love." Louis said quietly, putting his arm around my shoulders and pulling me to cry on his shoulder.

"Thanks Louis." I sobbed.

"You know they're just jealous. They just lust over Harry... Though why I can't be sure why when I'm sitting next to him."

I giggled a little, and wiped away my tears. A couple still came down.

"Remember Amber Smith?" He laughed, trying to comfort me. "She broke up with me because "I'm not good looking?" There's the perfect example. She was jealous of all this!" he waved his free hand in front of his face.

"More like she couldn't see the how brill you are. Looks have nothing to do with it." I said.

"Aw shucks." He blushed. "Come here" he pulled me into a hug. We hadn't had hardly a moment of time alone since high school. I missed my best friend.

"Hewy?" I asked.

"Yes?"

"Will you answer a question truthfully?"

"Yes."

"Can I really sing? Or was that girl right?" I mumbled, embarrassed. I stared at my feet, suddenly wishing I hadn't opened my mouth.

"Do you remember when our school did Grease?" He asked, seemingly ignoring the question.

"Yes. But I don't see how-"

"I was Danny Zuko, and who was Sandy?"

"Me..."

"And who did the review rave about?"

"I wouldn't say that they raved about me..." I said quietly.

"Yes they did. Amy. My best mate since grade school. You. You are a great singer, and don't you EVER let anyone tell you you aren't." He said with the most serious face I had ever seen him make.

"Thanks Lou." I smiled, and looked at the floor, embarrassed once more. "That really means a lot."

"Any time Doll." He grinned. And that's when I heard more footsteps. TONS of footsteps, they were running after four figures. Oh yes, the distraction. In a moment, the real boys appeared from around the corner.

"Amy." Harry said, sitting down and putting his arm around me. "Are you alright? Sorry I couldn't get here sooner, but if I left after you, they would have known something was wrong and followed me."

"It's okay, Louis helped..." I mumbled, wiping the rest of my tears that remained, away. "Could we just go on our date now?"

"Of course." He gave me a kiss. "We just have to go get my wig."
