Chapter 097

That day still feels like a dream for Kyla. She still couldn't believe what Sean did and she still couldn't understand what he meant.

Ang gulo. Her emotions are mixed. Is she getting mixed signals? She doesn't want to hope or anything but...

She really loves Sean and he just kissed her. And it meant a lot to her. Pakiramdam niya bumaliktad ang kaniyang puso dahil sa kaniyang ginawa. And up until now kapag inaalala niya iyon.

She didn't tell anyone about what he said. Kahit sa kaniyang kambal. Baka magalit pa ito kay Sean dahil sa kaniyang ginawa. Because after that day, she couldn't see him anywhere anymore. She tried but...

She feels like she is being avoided or what. Inaantay na nga lang niya na magkasama sama ulit ang mga Lees. Surely Sean will be there. He's always present when it comes to it.

"Wala si Sean?"

Simon shook his head to the mistress's question. "I have already searched everywhere. I believe he is not here."

"Did you already ask Ron?"

"Even he doesn't know where he went. Wala raw po itong nasabi sa kaniya. He's quite suspicious too since Sean won't leave this place without asking him if he wants to leave."

Cheska did a frown. "And that's probably because he has gotten too busy to Mae. Kawawa naman ang pinsan ko. Baka naglayas na dahil naiwan ng boyfriend. Anyway, how's your search about Lorenzo Han? Got anything?"

"I've already asked some of our men to do a surveillance in Han headquarters since I am hoping the real master visits that place. If he is naturally inside, I believe there are circumstance where he has to leave."

"So? Saw anything?"

"Yes. As I expected, he is not staying inside his headquarters," he answered. "Actually, we didn't see who's inside. But this car is quite suspicious because it was guarded and approached by many Hans—as if they are protecting him from any possibilities of assassination."

"Wow..." her hands went to her waist. "This Lorenzo Han just doesn't want to be seen huh? It makes me want to see him more. Anyway, I'll take it from here. Wala naman na akong ginagawa. You can rest now."

"I can still look into this, mistress."

"No," she smiled. "you already did enough. I'll find him myself. But if you are restless, kindly look for my cousin and pull him back here. Kung kailan kailangan ko siya saka nawawala. Is he avoiding me or what?"

Well, if he is indeed avoiding her hindi niya na alam kung bakit. As far as she remembers, it flattered him nang sabihin niya kung bakit siya lagi ang gusto niyang kasama.

Knowing Sean baka siya pa ang magvolunteer sa susunod niyang yaya.

So maybe that is not the case.

Could it be he is with this person that he wants to protect? Iyong chinismis sa kaniya ni Ron? Sean did not deny it so it could be true.

Katulad ng kaniyang sinabi, si Cheska na mismo ang nagpatuloy ng ginagawa ni Simon kaya ngayon ay nasa control room siya. She's busy typing non-stop habang hindi inaalis ang tingin sa screen.

Mabuti na lang at may karapatan siyang manatili roon. Thanks to Sean na tinuruan siya kung paano maghack. Sapilitan pa nga iyon dahil nagrereklamo pa ito but gladly, he did his very best to teach her.

She got frustrated right at the first hours of her investigation. There is just nothing that could help her to know the face of this Lorenzo Han.

He already thought of this way na komprontahin harap harapan si Gil Han para mapaamin kung sino talaga ang master but it will only make her look desperate.
