Chapter 103

The Soarta. The former queen of the immortal world and the goddess of gods. The mother of the four strongest gods that the immortal world has ever seen.

The goddess of fate.

The goddess of fate who had tasted the bitterness of fate. The goddess of fate who couldn't save herself from her own fate. The goddess of fate whose fate is the worse among the fates.

The Soarta, that is what everyone calls her if it is not 'Your Majesty'. She is a nameless goddess but being nameless never made her insignificant, irrelevant, or unlovable.

In fact, she is the most significant person in the immortal world.

Unlike the twin goddesses, the Soarta was visible to everyone. She always goes out of her kingdom and visits the town to talk to the people and watch the children playing.

She loves seeing their smiles. She loves having a conversation with them.

Her visitation is what everyone is always waiting every morning. Because in the afternoon, she's on her monarch duties.

She entertains the children through butterflies. Calling them so they can play with them. While the adults, she entertains them by giving them advice about their daily problems.

Theós is the most perfect world among the worlds in the immortal world and the Soarta herself is enough to maintain its perfection. She needs no king in leadership. She needs no one. She is independent. She is strong alone.

However, she couldn't bear a child alone and it is her duty to make a fruit and make a family of her own. That's why in the end, she got married to this certain god not knowingly this marriage will be the end of her.

The Soarta and this god never knew each other. She only agreed to marry him because it is her people's demands—to find a king and her most loyal servants' request—to marry their son.

She has no worries. She is the strongest after all.

But one day, during their wedding, the Soarta suddenly stepped back. All of a sudden, she turned back to this god she is about to marry.

No one knows why. No one knows what happened to her.

For few weeks, she's in her room. Not talking to anyone. Not letting anyone see her. Her servants got worried and as well as her people.

The Soarta who always visits them has never shown her face to them ever again.

Until the wedding happened. Her hands are at the top of his.

She's anxious and everyone at the wedding can see it clearly. Even the children.

Her smiling eyes got emptied. Her smiling lips have faded. The glow of her existence has vanished.

And that wedding is the last day they have seen the Soarta until she left.

"She had the opportunity not to marry that man," Lissa muttered while looking at the rain from the window. "but why didn't she...?"

Those are the memories she gathered before leaving the immortal world. She literally touched everyone only to find memories of her mother. At kahit ayaw na niyang makita ang ama amahan, she went to him and touched him.

That's when she saw everything. She can remember clearly how the Soarta ran away from this god after making physical contact with him.

If only she knows where her mother is being buried, she might have already gone there and answer that question herself.
