They finally allowed me to return to school after missing two weeks of school. I even started therapy lessons, and it helped with everything that happened. The doctor also prescribed something to help with my panic attacks and PTSD so that I wouldn't flip out.

The investigation was ongoing with the fire and still separated us, but on a good note, the hellions got better with us staying there, including Drew. Drew even started teaching the hellions how to channel their aggression into something more positive.

We even had a football game since it was a football season. We might not play sports in school, but we were fiercely competitive in our family. Unfortunately, I had to sit out while everyone else played due to my broken arm.

I watched as they split up on teams. There were eight against eight. Dad's side had Matt, Elena, Mack, Drew, Liam, Elijah, and RJ. Mom's group had Jordan, Frazier, Marissa, Austin, Nik, Junior, and JJ.

Watching everyone was the funniest thing I've ever seen. Every time Mom got the ball, Dad would chase her until he flung her over his shoulder, running to the end-zone. Drew would tackle Frazier every chance he got, even when he didn't have the ball. Elena would grab Jordan, making him drop the ball as Matt scooped it up and made a touchdown.

Austin, Nik, and JJ would go after RJ and Mack, but they underestimated Mack as she was quicker and scored a touchdown. Give it up for girl power. I would jump and down, yelling from the sidelines, rooting for both sides. They would all look at me, and I would shrug. I can't help it if my parents on opposite teams.

The final score was 7-7 with a minute on the clock. Mom's team put the ball into play, and she stepped back, snapping the ball to Jordan in a perfect spiral. As the clock ran out, Jordan caught the ball, and her team beat Dad's Team 8-7. Never underestimate a woman with sports.

Mom's team all whooped and hollered in victory as Dad's side stood there, defeated. It was a great game; I hated not playing. I was always on Dad's team, but this time Drew took my spot.

I started getting cold as everyone walked towards me. Drew ran over to me all sweaty and pulled me into a hug, but I pushed him away, wrinkled my nose. "What?" Drew asked.

"Ew, you're all sweaty and stinky," I replied, making a face.

"Really? I think you need to bask in my stink more." Drew moved towards me.

"Yeah, I don't think so," I held up my arm, and he reached. Drew tickled me as I turned and ran. He chased after me.

"Drew, I will beat your ass," I yelled as Drew chased me.

"With what? You only have one good arm, lefty," Drew yelled as he chased me into the house.

"I hate to say it, but thanks to Drew, Elizabeth's smiling again," Jordan said.

"Yeah, that's one thing I'm thankful for with Drew," Dad said.

"Who knew that idiot could do something positive?" Frazier added.

"You're jealous because Drew can clothesline your ass," Jordan added.

"Considering it was tag football, I think Drew did that on purpose," Frazier grumbled.

"Stop being a Nancy boy," Dad retorted.

"At least we aren't one unlike some losers I know," Frazier smirked as he pointed at Dad.

"I'll give you loser," Dad said, chasing after Frazier.

"Some things never change. You know they are two of the biggest idiots," Jordan said to Mom.

"Yeah, but they're our idiots," Mom sighed, making Jordan chuckled.

"What a crazy family we have?" Marissa said.
