Seems like old times

After the punch incident at homecoming, we all went home to get cleaned up. Jordan and Hunter allowed Elijah and Drew to stay at our house since the four of us started nothing. Elijah and Matt's dates had to go home. We weren't sure if their parents would allow them to see the boys after tonight, but then again, you never know.

I finished taking a shower and dressing, then walked into my room to find Drew dressed in a pair of sweats and a tank top, lying on his back on my bed, flipping through a magazine. I dried my hair with a towel and walked over and sat down on the bed next to him. I was facing him, and he still flipped through the magazine.

"So, are you going to tell me what you did that landed you in jail?" I asked Drew.

"Promise not to laugh?" Drew asked, still flipping through a magazine.

"Depends," I replied.

Drew lowered the magazine and looked at me, raising an eyebrow.

"Okay, I promise," I said.

He tossed the magazine to the side and sat up, crossing his legs Indian style, then said, "I had a slight punch incident at prom last year."

"What did you do?" I asked.

"Well, some idiots thought it would be cool to spike the punch, and I ended up drunk. I hit the principal, then puked on him. I got arrested for drunken intoxication, underage drinking, assault, and whatever bogus charge they could throw at me, plus they wanted to expel me from school. My dad called Theresa, and she got all the charges dropped. She also could get them not to expel me, but have my transfer here and sending my dad to work with yours," Drew said to me. He played with my hands.

"I thought they sent your dad to help mine?" I asked Drew.

"He was, so it worked out perfectly. Dad loves Mason as a father, but Mason knew I needed my dad around more. Plus, I guess your dad needed help on something, so who better than to send my dad. The only people who know my dad is your family. Other than that, he is Hunter Michels, a family man," Drew explained.

I didn't know if I should laugh or what at this? He looked at me, and I couldn't help myself. I ended up laughing, and he gave me a look. "Oh, you will get it."

Drew lunged at me and started tickling me, making me laugh harder, then he looked at me, "I love you, Liz."

I stopped giggling, "I love you, too, Drew."

He leaned in and gave me a sweet kiss, deepening it. He moved his hand behind my back, pulling me to him. I wrapped my arms around his neck as we continued to kiss. I loved how soft his lips were.

He pulled away and smiled at me, "I could do this all day."

"Yeah, but then we wouldn't get anything done," I sighed. "Plus, it would not thrill my dad."

"Eh, I'm not worried," Drew mentioned.

"You should be," a husky voice said, coming from the doorway. "Come on, lovebirds," Dad said, motioning us to follow him.

I looked at Drew, and he looked at me. We both shrugged as he got up, then he helped me up. We walked downstairs to see everyone in our living room. Dad pointed to the couch for us to sit and join everyone. We sat down next to Matt and Elijah.

"Since these five can't seem to stay out of trouble," Ryan said, pointing to the hellions and the double trouble twins. "We all decided tomorrow is chore day for everyone."

That made us all erupt with groans and moans about how this wasn't fair.

"Enough! We don't want to hear it! You could handle this situation a lot better than it was," Dad said, looking at all of us kids.
