Walking up the school building, I soggily walked over to my locker. I was dreading for this day to be over, I was so happy that the school year was almost over. It was just prom, graduation and then I was over with school.
I wasn't planning on going to college, I was going to take a year or two off working before I go to college but Jordan thought otherwise. I slammed my locker and I noticed that Ella was standing besides me.
"Hey girl." I said standing in place since class didn't start in a few minutes.
"Hey girl." Ella said.
I wasn't surprised that Mia didn't come to school, she just learned that her mother passed away. So it essential for her mental and physical health to take a few days off.
"How is Mia feeling?" I asked her since she haven't replied to my texts or calls ever since I went over to her house.
"I'm not sure because she haven't answered any of my calls or texts." She shrugged.
"Same, but I understand. We just need to give her some time alone."
"Yeah, but how are you and Lucas." She said elbowing me.
"We were never anything, and will never be. Me and him don't even talk to each other, so I don't really care."
"So you don't like him any more?"
"Never did."
"I guess he's mine now. I'mma get him." She said smirking to herself.
"Suite yourself, I won't really care."
"Never hurts to try."
The bell rung and it was finally time to start walking over to class, so I reshifted my bag on my shoulder and walked to first period with Ella.
"Are you and Caleb still dating?"
"Yeah."
"Do you really love him?"
"Yeah, I really do."
"Do you see your self marrying him in the future."
"Only time can tell Ella, I really don't know. You already know I don't even want to get married and shit." I told her honestly. I always told people that I never wanted to get married because it was just something that I didn't aspire for nor cared about.

Lunch time finally rolled around and I was excited because I was honestly starving and I only packed myself a container of pineapples, so I was waiting for the day to finish so I can get real food.
I sat besides Ella, pulling out my pineapple before putting a slice of pineapple in my mouth. I inwardly rolled my eyes when I noticed Lucas walking over to us, but surprisingly Jasmine wasn't clinged onto him like she usually was.
He sat in front of Ella and said hey to Ella and nodded his head over to me. I didn't reply back to his greeting because I was just simply over this petty drama and he got another thing coming if he thought that I was going to chase after him.
"You look nice today." Ella told Lucas.
"Thanks, you'on look bad yaself."
She flipped her hair over her shoulder. "Really? I thought I looked ugly today."
"Nah you good."
I continued to text Caleb and eat my pineapples while Ella was hinting at Lucas that she liked him.
"You heard Asia?" Ella said looking over at me.
"Huh?" I told her since I was daydreaming I didn't hear what the conversation was going.
