A YEAR AND A HALF LATER

ASIA

So after giving birth to Luke, me and Lucas went straight into planning for the wedding and today was the wedding day and I was nervous and excited at the same time.

I sat with my eyes closed as the makeup artists did my face and my hair stylists did my hair. My only three bridesmaid was Ella, Mia and Bianca who I eventually became close to this past year and a half. I also let my mom become my Maid of Honor because I know she deserved the position.

We were in the venue but they had big enough to split a side for me to get ready and for Lucas to get ready. We all were getting our makeup done and it was almost two hours until the wedding and I prayed that everything went smoothly with no mistakes. I heard the door creak open but I didn't mind because people were constantly walking in and out of the rooms.

I felt a pair of hands touching my legs, "Mama." I opened one of my eyes that the makeup artist wasn't doing. I smiled as I saw Luke's big brown eyes staring up at me. "Hi my little baby." I picked him up and sat him on my lap. "You okay baby?"

He didn't reply like I expected, he was just looking around the room confused. "Is that my god baby?" Mia asked with both of her eyes closed.

"Yup, you already know this little baby never goes to sleep." I told her shaking my head as the whole room erupted in laughter.

After finishing all of our makeup, we still had about 45 minutes to spare. So I took this time to make sure Luke was fed and change so he wouldn't be moody for when the wedding starts. I couldn't believe how fast my life changed. I was nineteen years old, with a child and I was about to marry the love of my life. But I honestly wouldn't change it for anything in the world because my life was set.

Even though I went through so much bullshit in life especially with Caleb. I would forever be grateful for him because he help me learn that I didn't need niggas like him and that I was smart and beautiful and I didn't need any mans approval for that. I was really turning into a young smart woman and I am so happy to be moving on my life with Lucas and Luke.

I could feel myself getting emotional just at the thought, but I looked up at the ceilings to make sure I didn't ruin my makeup. "You ready to get in your dress?" My mom asked me. I nodded my head, "Yeah I'm ready."

LUCAS

I had my suit on and I was repositioning my tie making sure it was correct looking at myself through the mirror. Ryan walked up to me and put his hand on my shoulder, "You good bro?"

I nodded my head yes. "I'm good man. I'm just a little nervous."

Even though I know I want to marry Asia. I was so nervous for some reason, but I was ready for her to be Misses Brown.

"You gon' be good. I'm happy for you bro." He said.

"I know my sister is probably scared as hell right now crying and shit. Y'all both are obviously meant for each other." Jordan told me.

"Yeah I know."

Shooter walked up to us and look down at his watch on his wrist, "It's time to go."

I took a deep breath and looked at myself in the mirror one more time, "Aight let's go bro." I told him and I walked in front as they walked behind me.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath as Luke was already walking down the aisle. My mom could obviously see my nerves because she walked up to me and made sure I was good.
