I woke up in an amazing mood because today was my birthday and I was finally turning eighteen and I was just happy and I wanted today to end a good day and hopefully nothing would ruin that.
I turned over to my side and I noticed that Lucas wasn't there, but I heard the shower running so I just assumed that he was in there. I threw the bedsheets off of me and got up and walked downstairs and went straight to the kitchen to make me and Lucas some food.
When I reached the kitchen, there was a two hot plates of food and I just stood there shocked and I could feel the smile growing on my face.

I took a seat and just savored the moment of the breakfast. I laughed at the heart eggs and pancakes and that's when I heard Lucas walk into the room. "You like it? I tried." He said scratching his neck. I got up and gave him a tight hug.
"This is amazing, I love it." I leaned in and gave him a sweet kiss on the lips and his hands traveled down my bottom.
I pulled away because my phone was going off, once I answered the phone and I noticed it was my parents I smiled.
"Happy birthday my little baby." They said in unison.
"Aww, Thank you guys so much. Y'all are gonna make me cry." I frowned.
"Hell, you gon' make me cry, I really can't believe that your eighteen now.." My dad stated.
"I can't believe I'm eighteen too. I'm a grown woman now." I joked.
"Hey, don't get crazy. In my eyes you still and will always be my little baby."
"Yeah I know. I love you guys. I'll see you tomorrow."
After hanging up, like clock work I got text messages back to back.
