TWO MONTHS LATER
It's been two months of struggle because ever since I've confirmed that I am pregnant. The pregnancy sickness has gotten so bad. I've been having mood swings, frequent urination, fatigue, sore breasts, nausea, and many other things.
I'm three months pregnant and me and Lucas still haven't told anybody about the pregnancy. We were going to have an event today and let all our friends and families know the news.
"Is this cute?" I asked Lucas twirling around in an all black dress.
He nodded his head while he was fixing his clothes not glancing at me.
"Liar." I rolled my eyes and looked down at my growing belly.
I kissed my teeth and took off the dress and looked for a different outfit.
I changed into a blue and white dress and matched it off with gold colored sandals.
I didn't want to do too much since it was just a get together and it's not like I had anybody to impress.
I sat on the edge of the bed to put on my golden sandals but since my feet was swollen, it was a struggle to put it on.
"Ugh.." I mumbled to myself as I continued to stuff my feet in the sandal.
After a while, I just threw the sandals for the side and I felt my eyes burn and the tears streamed down my face.
"What's wrong?" Lucas came over and sat besides me.
"The shoes.." I pointed over to where I threw the shoes at. "It won't fit." More tears started to roll down my face.
I rolled my eyes as the thought of my hormones making me cry.
Lucas looked over to where I pointed at and went over to pick it up.
"Don't cry boo." He said wiping my tears and lifting my leg up to help me put on my shoes.
After a few seconds, he was able to successfully place both sandals on my feet.
He kissed the top of my forehead, "You good now?"
I nodded my head and gave him a smile. "Thanks."
"Ya welcome, I'm gonna get the car started. Aight?"
"Alright, I'm gonna get a few more things." And with that he left downstairs to get the car running.
I quickly went over to get my shoulder bag and I made sure my daily essentials were in there such as lip gloss, mascara, my wallet, and sunglasses.
I went downstairs over to the kitchen and grabbed two water bottles for Lucas and I.
I also took some snacks for our car ride since it was going to be a while.I put Lucas' water bottle inside the bottle holder, and I put mine in between my thighs as I scrolled through Instagram.
Lucas went to put on his sunglasses and started up the car and began driving.
"Asia." Lucas called out for me."
"Hm?" I replied still going through my phone.
"Do you want the baby to be a boy or a girl?"
I shrugged my shoulders, "It really don't matter to me, how about you?"
"I want me a little boy."
"Why not a girl?"
"You enough to deal with."
I laughed, "Boy bye, y'all boys are too much to deal with."
"But you still love this boy though." He said popping his collar with his free hand.
