ASIA
I quickly got up and rushed over to Tre's house since he urgently told me to come over.
I drove over to his house that would usually take me 20 minutes, I got there in 10.
The door was unlocked so I opened it, and walked into his room and he was sitting on the edge of the bed with his head on his hands.
I went over to him and sat besides him, "Babe, what's wrong?"
He didn't say anything, he was sniffling and trying to catch his breath.
I went in front of him and kneel down. "Please speak to me." I held his face up. I saw his blood shot eyes and his dried tears down his face.
"My m-m-mom got c-cancer."
I gasped and put my hand over my heart. "I am so sorry."
"She's gonna leave me like my dad. I don't wanna be alone."
"You're not gonna be alone. You have me." I stood up to my feet. "You see look, I'm here. I'm always gonna be here for you."
He held onto my waist and pulled me close to him and he put his head on my chest and I felt my shirt soak a little.
I rub my hands down his back. "Don't cry bubba. Don't."
I laid down on the bed with him as he pulled me closer to him. "Don't leave me ever." He told me.
"I would never leave you. We in this forever. Don't ever think that okay?"
He nodded his head. "I love you so much."
"I love you too." I said massaging his hair to make sure he was sleeping.

LUCAS
It's been a week since my mom told me about being diagnosed with breast cancer, I haven't told anybody yet besides Asia because I didn't want people to start feeling bad for me. I am all what my mom has let, so it is me who is going to deal with her problem.
Simply thinking of her, I decided to give her a call.
"Hello?"
"Hey ma, how you been?"
She chuckled, "You call me everyday, and this is about the fifth time you called me today son."
"I know, I just wanna make sure you straight. Ever since you told me about ya breast cancer, I just want to know that you are all good."
"I know, I know. I'm good right now. The doctor is still holding me off from chemo since my insurance can't afford it."
"I already told you that I'm gonna pay for everything."
"Thank you son, but enough about me and my problems. How have you and Asia been?"
"She good. She actually told me to say hey to you."
"I wanna talk to her, give her the phone."
"She ain't here. She went back to her house."
"Aw dang, she's a good girl. Don't let her slip out of your hands."
"Never that, I love her too much to let her go."
"That's good." It was silent for a few seconds, "You know your dad would have loved her right?"
I poked my cheek with my tongue with the thought of my father, "Yeah, I know. He would have really loved her. I think about him all the time."
"I do too. I think and miss him every single day, but I know that he is watching down at us smiling."
