Has To Be Said (PLEASE READ)

Here are a list of things that prevent/will prevent me from reading your original/fanfiction story:

1. IMPROPER CAPITALIZATION- People use lowercase on purpose, and I respect that. At least I know that you use it on purpose, and it's not because you're too LAZY to go back and fix ONE LETTER.

2. "I'M SORRY ABOUT MY ENGLISH" BUT IT'S NOT ENGLISH, IT'S MECHANICS- What I mean by mechanics are did you use the right punctuation? Did you spell that right? There's the Internet for a reason, so use it! Were you never taught all this?

3. "I'M SORRY THAT I WON'T BE UPDATING OFTEN"- I'm guilty of this myself. Honestly, you have nothing to be sorry for--we as readers have to understand your situation and support you. We have no other choice. I lied, yes you do--you can stop reading because why read something that you don't support anymore?

4. (A/N: me too/[OC]: eww!)- Or something along the lines of eww. Seriously, it gets annoying and makes it seem that you are a 5 year old writer. Unless it has any purpose in the story, please refrain from doing this.

These are the things that just STOP me from reading something. I've been trying to find at least a decent story for specific topics and have found a 25% success rate. As for the 75%, it's all trash. Trash I tell you. Maybe it's the mood that I approach the story, but I choose stories off the description and cover. I do what I want because it's your responsibility as the author to make sure your cover is aesthetically pleasing to those who do the same as me.

Make an effort to fix all this! Maybe your views and votes would skyrocket if you implemented these changes!

But look at me, so maybe not.
