I have a friend who... Has issues with this. They will easily like (or pretend to like) what other people are talking about just to stay in the conversation. They will say they know what we're (my other friends) so they either look smart or seem like they're paying attention.
It's irritable.
Just admit that you don't know! It's okay NOT to know! You don't have to know!
This person also has a problem with influence. They let someone's suggestion sweep them away into addiction, and this affects their grades.
There are so many other things I'd like to add, but those are left to be said and not typed. Lest you persist in questioning me, I shan't reveal a name, gender, or the other things I'd like to add.
