A/N

Random fun fact, I wrote this chapter while eating ramen and watching Family Guy.

Alexis

It's Saturday, mine and Xander's date night. Angie woke up a few hours ago. She was in a coma for two day's. Me and Lily have been sitting here with her, eating noodles, and watching Family Guy. I know what you're thinking, why is a ten year old watching Family Guy? Well because it's hilarious, that's why.

I wanted to talk to Angie in private, but when Lily heard the news of her mom, she wouldn't leave her side. I let it slide though. See? I can be kind.

I check the time to find its around five in the evening, dinner time. I say my goodbye's and have a small chat with the guards outside Angie's room before heading home. I haven't had any calls from Blake these past few days, but I can still feel him watching.

I walk through the forest, Sam by my side because he thinks it's too dangerous to be alone. "You don't have to follow me around, I can protect myself." I break the comfortable silence around us.

"You're right, I don't have to, I want to. You're my best friend and there's a psycho stalking you, I'm not leaving you alone." I roll my eye's, true a psycho is stalking me, but he won't do anything. In his head he still has a chance as King, but that chance is gone if I'm dead.

We spend the rest of the walk just catching up since we haven't been able to talk about anything besides war these past few weeks. I missed our small talks, they keep me from going crazy.

When we got to my house, Sam stayed outside while I went in and up to my room to change. Xander had been planning something all day and I only had a chance to see him this morning, it's driving my wolf crazy.

I open up the door to my closet and stare at all the jeans, sweatshirts, and graphic tees taking over half the closet. I'm supposed to wear something fancy but comfortable. I make my way to the back of my closet where a small corner holds three dresses, four skirts, and three blouses. Yeah, I don't do girly things.

I think for a second before grabbing a high waisted, black, leather skirt that fans out and ends mid thigh, then I grab a white, crop top sweater, and black ankle boots.

I quickly shower and blow dry my hair before getting dressed. I check the time, it's only 6:30, I still have half an hour to do my hair and make-up.

I head to a mirror desk in the corner of my room and sit, pulling out a small little bag in the drawer attached. Inside is the small amount of make-up I actually own and hair pins. Like I said, I'm not a girly person.

I grab five hair pins and get to work on my fluffy blue hair. After 15 minutes of fighting my hair, I finally get it pinned so all my hair pushed to one side, the left side of my hair covered in hairpins to keep it in place.

I check the time one last time before moving to my make-up. I'm not really good at this part so I decide to highlight some of my best features. My lips, coated in a very dark red, my cheeks coated lightly with skin tone blush, to make my cheek bones pop even more, and a smokey eye look to top it off.

I smile at my reflection, happy with the results. Before I get up, I pull my shirt down to look at the mark on my neck. A lone wolf sitting on a cliff with vines wrapped around him, cutting into his fur. I growl at the horrible mark.

Xander shouldn't have to stare at this. I take some foundation and cover it so it's not seen. I smile happily at my now blank shoulder. I fix my shirt and make my way down stairs where I see an excited Xander at the bottom of the stairs.

His green eyes meet mine and shine with happiness as a smile spreads across his face. "You look lovely Alexis." He takes my hand and kisses my knuckles when I reach the bottom of the steps. "You don't look too bad yourself."

He was wearing dark washed jeans, a black dress shirt that hugs his slender yet toned body, and a pair of grey converse. His jet black hair styled perfectly messy.

"Ready for our date?" My smile widens and so does his. "Yes, where are we going?" I ask excitedly. "Well, Sam says we're not aloud to leave the house and I completely agree so I arranged something outside, now put this on."

He holds out a black silk blindfold and I raise an eyebrow at him. "Is this some kinky thing you're into?" He let's out a deep chuckle before stepping behind me, wrapping the blindfold around my eye's. "No, this is so what I have planned is a surprise, but we could always use this later if you want."

He whispers in my ear, his voice getting deeper. His breath tickles the sensitive skin behind my ear and a shiver goes through my spine.

I know he's smirking at my reaction right now. Kinda like when a mother knows her child is up to no good. He takes my hand and leads me through the house. I feel a cold breeze hit me and I take a second to enjoy the fresh air on my skin. I wish I could smell the smell of the forest and grass.

He leads me outside and I instantly know we're in the backyard. We come to a stop and he pulls off my blindfold. I gasp at the beautiful fairy lights strung along the trees, rose buds spread all around leading to a table for two, in the middle of my giant rose garden. There's candles all around a vase full of lily's, tulip's, rose's, and carnations in the center of the table.

I feel a tug on my hand as Xander leads me down the path of candles and roses to the table. He pulls out my chair and I happily sit. I watch as he pulls off the silver cover on my plate to reveal a bowl of Mac & cheese and a slab of lasagna.

"My favorite, you remembered." I've loved the combination of the two ever since I was little. I used to cook it with my mom every Saturday night. "Of course I did."

He takes a seat across from me and reveals the same thing on his plate. We ate dinner mostly in peaceful silence, making only small conversation.

When dinner was finished two men, who I recognized as some lower level guards, came and collected our plates. Then one brought out two more plates, chocolate lava cake piled on each.

I took a small bite and couldn't help the smile forming on my face. "Did you make this?" He rubs the back of his neck nervously. "Yeah, my mom kind of taught me how to cook when I was younger." A pink tint covers his cheeks and I giggle at his embarrassed expression, earning me a playful glare from Xander.

"Its amazing, thank you." We ate our dessert, making a few jokes here and there. There were no distractions and for once, I wasn't acting as Queen or Alpha, I was just me. When we were done eating, we made our way back inside were I found Sam.

He had a serious face on so I knew something was wrong. "What happened now?" I pinch the bridge of my nose and sigh in frustration. "Rogues."
