Chapter 3

A taller male steps out from behind the two in front and walks toward me. Me and my wolf go on alert at how close he gets, ready to attack if needed.

"I am Aiden Sutten. We mean no harm, I swear." He must have seen me stiffen cause he shows me his neck, a sign of submission, before turning back to me.

"What do you need?" I cross my arms, not letting down my guard. "We heard you were in America and near by so we wanted to come talk to you." I remain quiet, letting him know to keep speaking.

"We want your help to over throw the leader of Blood Moon pack. He is a cruel leader and I know it's shamed upon to break your loyalty to your Alpha, but I am his son and I believe he is unstable."

I already knew he was an Alpha. I could smell the power coming off of him. "You ran away from your pack, you're rouges. You know you won't be able to lead your father's pack now."

He looks down in shame. "I know this pack is small. My pack is big and I was hoping you would take us in, merge into one giant pack." I think for a minute.

"You may all stay in one of my guest houses while me and you discuss this." He looks up with hopeful eye's. "Thank you my Queen." He quickly closes the distance between us and engulfs me in a hug. My guards make a move to remove him but I stop them.

I hug him back, feeling how desperate he is from how tight he was holding onto me. "Everyone, you can come out." He let's go of me and I can see 3 young children and 2 woman step out of the tree's.

The children all seem to be 10 or younger. They look around at the guards who all look like a girl who just started her period and found there was no chocolate in sight.

Which if you've never seen a girl like that, it's very scary. "Sam, lighten up. They're children and you're scaring them." I glare at all the guards behind me and their looks soften a bit.

"It's ok, they won't hurt you." I speak softly as I bend down to the same level as the kids. "Are you sure?" I hear a little girl speak as she peeks her head around from behind one of the woman.

"Yes I'm sure. They know how angry I'll be if they did." The little girl walks up to me slowly. "You're the Queen?"

"Yes I'm the Queen. Do I not look the part?" I raise my eyebrow in a playful manner. "But everyone say's how cruel you are. How can you be so cruel when you're so pretty?" The woman who I presume is her mother pulls her back towards her.

"Im sorry my Queen. She's just a little girl who heard some story's." She bows and I try to refrain from laughing. It's always funny when someone thinks im angry cause they always suck up to me afterwards.

"Come here little girl." I put on a fake angry face and she walks back up to me. "What's your name?" The little girl bows. "My name is Lily my Queen. Im sorry if I offended you."

"Lily, what a pretty name." I pick her up and she squeals in surprise. "Don't worry Lily, I won't hurt you. I know the stories about me and I don't blame you for being scared, but unless you're a criminal or someone who's done wrong, no harm will come to you."

"Sam, lead our guest's to the house by mine. Lily, and the other kids can play in my game room while I speak with Alpha Sutten." I set Lily down and hold onto her hand instead while we all walk back. My guards walking behind the rouges just incase they try anything.

It took an hour for us all to walk back. The rouges were all tired so they decided to sleep right away when we got back. Sam sent four of his best guards to stand outside the guest house while the rest headed towards mine with Alpha Sutten.

"Josh, Danny, watch Alpha Sutten while I change." I head out of my office, but Aiden stops me before I can shut the door. "Queen Alexis, I promise we mean no harm."

"I am putting my trust in that promise, but that does not mean I won't be cautious. I have a pack to protect." I shut and lock the door, having Sam stand guard outside it while I head to my room.

Ten minutes later Im heading back down fully dressed in jeans and a t-shirt. I walk into my office with a scared Aiden standing away from a glaring Josh and Danny.

"Stand down before you make him pee his pants." They're all startled when they hear my voice. Which is weird considering they're werewolves and should've heard me coming. I laugh slightly at their startled faces before making my way to my desk and sitting down.

"Now, Alpha, this is what will happen. We will talk, you'll state your case against your father, and then I will decide if I'll help or not." He nods in agreement.

"So, why do you wish to over throw your father?" He goes on to tell me how his father abuses his power as Alpha, how he's slowly going insane ever since the death of his mate, and how he hurts his pack members.

"I agree that your father shouldn't be running his pack anymore and I will fight with you, but my pack will stay out of the war." I cross my arms and lean back in my chair, daring him to argue with me.

"With all do respect my Queen, how will we win if your pack doesn't fight with us?"

"This is a small pack that was not built for war. I will fight with you and who ever is willing from my royal guards will fight, but I won't force anyone to."

"The Blood Moon pack is the third strongest pack in the US. How will we beat them?" I lean forward, placing my elbows on my desk with my chin in my hands, thinking.

"Look, Im guessing the few people that came with you, are the only ones that would rebel with you. That means everyone still at your old pack will be fighting with your father. Even if my pack fought with you, it wouldn't be enough. We need to be smart about this."

He sighs in defeat, knowing I'm right. "What's your plan?"

"I will contact some Alpha's in the area. They will fight with me and we will plan. We have to be careful how we do this. Most likely someone has already told your father that you left and are planing a war against him. First I want a chance to talk with him, see if I can have him step down voluntarily."

Aiden didn't like my plan to talk to his father and neither did Josh or Danny, but they stopped trying to argue when I threaten to hurt them where the sun don't shine if they didn't shut up.

After I dismissed everyone I ended up talking with my father and making him my advisor. He is to be with me at all meetings and to give advice whenever needed. He liked the new role and agreed to be there for me whenever needed.

I spent all afternoon and most of the evening calling all the nearest pack's for help if it was needed. Two out of the five packs I called agreed to help. We still didn't have enough to defeat Blood Moon pack. We have a little over 200 people to fight for us while Blood Moon has almost 400.

According to Aiden, his father has loyal friends that would do anything for him so he will most likely bring them in for war. That's what gives him more wolves than us.

I groaned on the inside when I remembered​ Alpha Henry owed me a favor. He was the Alpha of the second strongest pack and is very good friends with my father. So I made the call.
