Sky's POV.
I open my laptop to play Hamilton, when I heard a knock at the door. I was home alone and was told not to open the door, but my curiosity got the best of me. Sorry mom.
I walked over to my window and opened the blinds slowly to see if I could see anything that would give me a clue as to who it was.
Nope.
I mentally go through every possibility of who it could be in my head.
"Is it a robber? No why would a robber knock? Well it could be a polite robber. Yeah because if I'm going to rob a house the first thing I'm going to do is knock. Okay I am not having this conversation.......with....myself. I'm going insane"
Another knock was heard and I walk slowly downstairs. Slowly I leaned forward to see if I could tell who was at the door without them seeing me.
"Drew?" I said quietly to myself. I walk down the remaining steps and open the door only to have Drew rush past me into my house.
"Hey Drew! What are you doing here? Please come in!" I say facing the empty door frame, my voice filled with sarcasm.
"Sorry" he spoke quietly.
"Eh, it's fine. But seriously why are you here? And you interrupted Hamilton so this better be a good reason" I said closing my door.
Just as he was about to answer, my dog came running in from my parents' room, barking like a madman.
"Wow, guard dog of the year. Bluebell! Stop barking!" I say causing her to sit down and look at me, and then continue to bark.
"Hello" Drew says awkwardly, leaning down to pet her.
"Okay now tell me why you are here" I say.
"Well I was talking to Becca and then she mentioned prom and how much she wanted to go and I panicked, so I told her I had to do chores and then I ran here." He says super fast.
"Why here? Why not Eve's?" I ask, picking up Bluebell.
"Because she lives to far away." He said
"Okay well, how exactly did the conversation go?" I ask, walking to the living room and sitting down on one of the couches.
He takes out his phone, opened the text conversation and hands me his phone.
I read the conversation before coming to a conclusion.
"Yeah... I don't know how I can help you." I say, handing the phone back to him.
"Wow. You're so helpful."
"Thank you! I try." I say flipping my hair behind my shoulder.
"Seriously, what do I do?" He asks, looking worried again.
"Um....okay let me text Eve really quick" I say taking my phone out of my back pocket.
"Hey um... I has a situation..." I text her. Not long passes before a receive a text back.
"Same here." she replied
